It's a new week and we're back with some amazing Halloween Event updates from this past weekend. Today we're in Tampa as Renee and Tyler were there for opening night to take in the 20th anniversary of this awesome event. Let's check it out!! Written by Renée Girar We’re walking down the blood stained carpet at Busch Gardens Tampa for the 20th anniversary of Howl O Scream! Already making new friends. Festive scares all around among the Dia de los Muertos. Our first house of the night and returning for a second year is Insomnia: Patients’ Revenge. Taking a break for some snacks and drinks before heading into more scares. Enjoyed some scares from the south at one of our returning favorites, Death Water Bayou: Wrath of the Queen. Rocking out with these creepers in the Hell on Wheels scare zone. I managed to escape the cage. Ventured into Simon’s Slaughterhouse, but would have enjoyed it a lot more if the team member guests behind us didn’t have their phone flashlight lit the entire time. The meat market is not vegetarian friendly! Motel Hell: Infestation is back for more, and this time, they might need an exterminator. I appreciate some of the repeat houses, because most of them are awesome. But I think The Black Spot has lived its life and I wouldn’t mind seeing something new here next year. Back row night rides on Kumba? Yes please! You never know who, or what, you might encounter along the dark pathways of the park. More friends! The Residence was the one new house this year. Unclear of the storyline, but some good scares. Looks like Busch Gardens is doing one of those coffin challenges next week. I would love a 24 hour nap! If a rabbit with a chainsaw is what you think of when you think of Deadly Toys, then you’d be right. The Trickster, one of the event’s previous icons, made an appearance for the 20th anniversary. Here’s to 20 years of fear! Busch Gardens always knows how to put on a fantastic Halloween event! Related Videos

We encountered some more creepy friends in the maniac midway scare zone! Simon’s Slaughterhouse is advertised as a house recommended for ages 17+, and we didn’t notice anything too out of the ordinary but it was still a solid house. Let’s not forget the amazing coasters at Busch Gardens ! We got to ride all of them, and they’re all so good, especially in the dark. Looking forward to Tigris next year! The Black Spot is another popular returning house, taking you through some creepy pirate ships. Unearthed is also back again, and this time we got a flashlight! Written by Renée Girard All weekend we were at Busch Gardens Williamsburg for Bier Fest. And some awesome coasters, too. Might as well get started on the beer! Here is just some of what Busch Gardens VA has to offer for Bier Fest. RIP DarKastle. Alpengeist is still so good!! Well. Battle for Eire is... a ride? Happy 40th, Loch Ness Monster. You get even better with age! I found my new home. You can’t go wrong with any of the coasters Busch Gardens VA Ended the night with some amazing rides on Apollo’s Chariot! Back at Busch Gardens VA for some more coaster fun! First train of the day on InvadR, and the whole train to myself as well. Got a few more rides in on Griffon before things get busier. Delayed opening for Verbolten. The only new coaster for me left on this trip, so I’ll wait it out. I’m seeing signs for these all over the park. I guess I’m out of touch with this fad. Are these the new fidget spinners? Verbolten was a surprise hit for me! There seriously are zero bad coasters at this park. t’s the final day for Bier Fest. Gotta get another sampler card to try some more! Getting some gorgeous views on the Rhine River Cruise. Giving out fanny packs to riders for loose articles on Tempesto is something I’ve never encountered on a coaster before, but hey, it’s fast and it works. The theming on all of the Busch Gardens VA rides are really top notch. Escape From Pompeii is short and sweet with just enough fire and water for an awesome ride. My face when I’m trying to sample all the beers on the last day of Bier Fest and it’s 90+ degrees outside and I only have 3 hours left. The park is gearing up for Howl O Scream in a few days. The last performance for the Happy Dutchman, closing out Bier Fest. Auf wiedersehen! Views from the Sky Ride. For Bier Fest they also had some brewery talks, which I always find interesting to attend. This Busch Gardens doesn’t have quite as many animals as Tampa, but there are a few. Here are some random sheep. Prost! Had such a fun weekend Related Videos:
