 Last Thursday we headed out to Knott's Berry Farm for the long awaited reopening day for the park. We had of course been at the park for the various food festivals, but it was great being back for some of our favorite rides and more at one of our favorite parks. In this update we'll share our thoughts on the reopening, and what you should expect when you visit. Enjoy! Written by Gregg Condon  Good Morning Ghostrider!  It looks like the banner finally fits! (this always bothered us tbh)  It's great to be back!  First stop was a ride on the amazing Ghostrider!  Missed this view  Social distancing in the queue. For the most part, Knott's was using every-other switchback to enforce social distancing.  Fog here soon?   Social distancing markers are everywhere!     So glad this is back! They apparently are still having issues and the ride was closed a lot of the weekend.  Let's go for a ride!  Love the Boardwalk! Hi Xcelerator!   This was our wait for HangTime! Every Other Row for distancing!   Hello Beautiful!    So fun to listen to KNOT radio! Knott's has put together another amazing art show showcasing some great art pieces from some talented artists. This is something that is uniquely Knott's and we love it! Check out a slideshow of some of the great pieces!  Some really great retro merch is also available at the park!      Do you need to stock up on your pins?     Spirit Jerseys have now invaded Knott's  More merchandise is at the Factory Store     They have different merch in each store   Another blast from the past    Aww, miss the Sky Jump.  Last week we were invited out to check out the Taste of Merry Farm at Knott's Berry Farm. This was actually our first visit to the park since leap day as we hadn't been able to make it to any of the other "Taste" events. It was great being back out at the park, trying some food and just walking around one of our favorite places. I will admit, it felt kind of weird, but overall the park has done a great job of making the best out of a bad situation. Let's head in! Written by Gregg Condon Hi Knott's!! We've missed you!!  You can also check out our video walk-through of the event   It was a beautiful day  First treat of the day were the fried green beans and tater-tot thing. The green beans were actually not very warm which was weird as the park had just opened. But the Tots were great!!
   Next up was the Cranberry Chocolate Tart and a Boysenberry Smoothie. The Tart was way too sweet for me, but the Smoothie was fantastic. I hope it stays on the menu somewhere. If there was a Rose Parade in 2021 I could see this driving the parade route      Let's head over to the Boardwalk  Mashed Potatoes. Good. Cranberry Sauce. Good. Stuffing. Good. Chicken Strips. Good. We don't usually like to do two updates in the same day, but we've got something SUPER SPECIAL for tomorrow morning, that you're definitely not going to want to miss. On my way home from Disneyland last Saturday I had to stop and get the Chicken Pin. Because, well, look at it (below). So of course I headed into the park to do a lap.
