Knott's Merry Farm Update: Merry Christmas Snoopy, Food, Xcelerator and More - December 7, 202112/7/2021
This past weekend we made our return to Knott's Merry Farm to check out more of the holiday fun we missed on opening day which included seeing the always awesome Merry Christmas Snoopy, more food and Snow and Glow. We also checked out the progress on the Xcelerator re-paint which is coming along nicely. Enjoy the update! Written by Gregg Condon  Welcome back to Knott's Merry Farm  I had the Turkey Sandwich for lunch, it was so good. The potatoes were a bit bland to be honest.  Over at Xcelerator, some brave souls are painting the top hat  Still decorated for Merry Farm!
 The first turn around is getting some flame paint  We saw the Merry Christmas Snoopy Show. Always a favorite! No video is allowed in the show, but below is a slideshow of some great pics we got of the show. Also more in our update video!  Hot Chocolate was very tasty!  Mrs. Claus' waffles were good, but was disappointed they were using frozen waffles instead of fresh.  And of course, Snow and Glow is always a treat.   Thanks for checking out our update!  Last week we were invited out to check out the Taste of Merry Farm at Knott's Berry Farm. This was actually our first visit to the park since leap day as we hadn't been able to make it to any of the other "Taste" events. It was great being back out at the park, trying some food and just walking around one of our favorite places. I will admit, it felt kind of weird, but overall the park has done a great job of making the best out of a bad situation. Let's head in! Written by Gregg Condon Hi Knott's!! We've missed you!!  You can also check out our video walk-through of the event   It was a beautiful day  First treat of the day were the fried green beans and tater-tot thing. The green beans were actually not very warm which was weird as the park had just opened. But the Tots were great!!
   Next up was the Cranberry Chocolate Tart and a Boysenberry Smoothie. The Tart was way too sweet for me, but the Smoothie was fantastic. I hope it stays on the menu somewhere.    Moo  Love the new look of the Schulz Theater   Lots of new stuff to look at over here  Lots of holiday goodies in the gallery & gifts shop   Nice touch with the Hangtime car    For the coaster nerds out there   This looks fantastic!!  If there was a Rose Parade in 2021 I could see this driving the parade route      Let's head over to the Boardwalk  Mashed Potatoes. Good. Cranberry Sauce. Good. Stuffing. Good. Chicken Strips. Good. Related Updates:  This past Friday it was time for our first Holiday event of 2019, Knott's Merry Farm. After a 3 1/2 hour drive (gotta love weeknight traffic in SoCal) we made it to the park and were ready to have a merry time. Written by Gregg Condon Welcome to Knott's Merry Farm  The projection also snows  Our first stop was the ice show as there was only 1 showing for the rest of the evening when we arrived. This is always a favorite.  Shockingly enough, we actually got some decent pics of the show. We've put them in a slideshow below. Sadly no video was allowed at the show.   No more pumpkin, but lots of pretty lights on the fountain.   Absolutely love this tree above the surf shop    As well as the big bulbs at coasters  All of the ride entries got huge wreaths. And because the park was not busy at all, we literally walked on every ride we wanted to.   Feliz Navidad    Oddly, we found the decorations in Camp Snoopy to be rather minimal  Ghost Town is always one of our favorite places during Merry Farm. The Crafts fair is always fun.  And of course the ever-popular Snow and Glow is back.   If you like the smell of cookies, well, this is the place!!    Also home to the cookie shots, which are seriously amazing. Forget that other Yoda, it's all about Wooden Yoda.
During our media reception, we got to take a look at some of the amazing food and merchandise available.   One of the new shows this year for Knott's Merry Farm is "Home for the Holidays".  It's a great holiday sing-along that features all the singers at the farm.  Literally all of them. =)  Every.Single.One.
