Happy Saturday everybody and welcome to our first update from Knott's Berry Farm since February. That's right, we even skipped the Boysenberry Festival this year. Just been busy with life and haven't had a chance to get down to the park. Made a quick stop on my way home from San Diego as we noticed we were having some issues with our Season Passes, and I had to get it addressed before our trip to Cedar Point, Kings Island and Canada's Wonderland next month. Happy to say we're all good!! But before that epic trip, let's see what's going on at Knott's. There is a lot! Written by Gregg Condon  Always remember where you parked  Montezooma's is obviously closed, Xcelerator being closed is a bummer.  As of yesterday, lots of walls all around Fiesta Village. Still not quite sure what they're doing here, but we can't wait to find out!   The walls extend all the way around the Arcade, Shop, Stage and La Papa Loca.  They've been nice enough to let everybody know where the entertainment is.  Get your Carne Asada Fries fix at Wilderness Broiler!  Not much visible work going on with Montezooma's Revenge.    Pizza for dinner sounded good! Let's check out Prop Shop Pizzeria!  They've added a refreshments booth outside of the restaurant. Although it's hard to tell where the line is.  A look at what's available.  They've also included a Refreshments Entrance to the main restaurant if you aren't getting food! Nice!  A look at the Pizza menu.  Beverages and Dessert.  The Pasta Bar. I'd suggest they swap the location of the Pizza and Pasta. The Pasta takes longer to dish out and the line backs up.

 If you missed out on your Paranormal Inc. Final Season mugs last year, you can get them in Toy Junction in Ghost Town. I also spotted a couple of Scary Farm shirts I don't remember from last year.
 Speaking of Scary Farm, no surprise, Mesmer is coming back!  Xcelerator's Red Train is on the track, Purple train is in pieces.  Knottsopoly has a shirt now too!  Instead of flipping your table over when playing Knottsopoly, you can just have a throw. =)  The new fruit and veggie shirts!
 These things  Cups and Mugs!  Really curious to see if these are selling. Didn't notice anybody at the park wearing them.  Some other "new to me" Knott's merch. I like these!   Cheers everybody! Have a great weekend! Related Videos

Welcome back to the Knott's Peanuts Celebration! The first event at Knott's Berry Farm for a 2022 season that is filled with events pretty much every month. This years event has been extended and will run through March 6th. Click Here for all of the info. Written by Gregg Condon  It was a beautiful day to be back at Knott's Berry Farm. Be sure to check out or video update below as well!  Lots of great merchandise for this event, as with every Knott's event.

Had to take one last spin on Montezooma's Revenge. The ride re-opened after closing for it's long refurbishment. No date for it's closure has been announced yet, but we've been assured by the park they will let everybody know.
Our first treat of the event was the Wah Wah Wah Buffalo Popcorn Chicken Loaded Fries (say that 5 times fast). They were quite tasty but other than the sauce, something you could make very easily at home.
Love these character outlines that are all throughout the park.   The Music Goes Round and Round has moved from the main Calico Stage to Camp Snoopy. The show definitely works better here.
Our next two meals were the PB&J Burger and Chicken Parm Grilled Cheese. Both were ok. The burger used store-bought Smuckers Strawberry jelly instead of Knott's Boysenberry for some reason. The bread on the Grilled Cheese was great, but the insides were not very warm. Definitely needed more melty cheese and more heated chicken parm.  We didn't get a chance to see the Marcie character, so this will have to do. =)  Xcelerator is back open after it's repaint, and it looks great!  Be sure to stop by K-NOT radio in the Boardwalk. Always a fun treat!  Lots of characters out in the park to greet guests.  The only major construction project going on at the park right now are new restrooms and a new restaurant. Rumor is the restrooms will be moving over on this side near the bumper cars.  Love the themed signs.   A look at the new restaurant artwork.  The former bathrooms will be a part of the new restaurant.
The Snickerdoodle Ice Cream Sandwich. It was very tasty but we thought it was going to be with ice cream other than vanilla. Maybe next time we'll try it with Boysenberry soft serve.  Overall we had a fun time at the Peanut's Celebration, but to be honest, it's my least favorite of the Knott's "events". It's definitely geared towards young children, and that's great, but that's not us. The food we tried was just "ok" especially compared to the amazing food they have available at the Boysenberry Festival and Merry Farm. We will most likely be back before the celebration ends and we'll try some more food of course. Related Videos

 The first turn around is getting some flame paint  We saw the Merry Christmas Snoopy Show. Always a favorite! No video is allowed in the show, but below is a slideshow of some great pics we got of the show. Also more in our update video!  Hot Chocolate was very tasty!  Mrs. Claus' waffles were good, but was disappointed they were using frozen waffles instead of fresh.  And of course, Snow and Glow is always a treat.   Thanks for checking out our update!
