BUENA PARK, Calif., Jan. 27, 2026 – Knott’s Berry Farm, one of Southern California's most popular theme park destinations, will debut a new eatery in the heart of Charleston Circle, right across from the famous fountain, this summer. The venue, currently a Johnny Rockets, will undergo a complete transformation starting April 15, which is just after the conclusion of the popular annual Boysenberry Festival. In addition to a new look and feel, the menu will feature park classics – chicken and boysenberry – in entirely new ways.

“Knott’s Berry Farm guests have long enjoyed the unique and immersive experiences found throughout the park. So, when we looked to reimagine the food and beverage space from its current concept, it made sense to draw upon the legends and characters already here,” said Raffi Kaprelyan. “Crafty’s Kitchen will bring together Knott’s culinary excellence featuring clever chicken dishes and boysenberry, of course, with a continuation of Crafty Coyote’s story.”

Located on Memory Lane, the premier chicken and fries’ destination will have a whimsical backstory revolving around its owner, Crafty Coyote, famed for his pie-thieving days when he pilfered from the next-door Knott’s Beary Factory in the Weird Woods of Knott’s Bear-y Tales ride. Having hung up his outlaw ways, Crafty has reinvented himself, though a hint of mischief still lingers in his quirky culinary concoctions. Guests will be invited to grab a tray and slide down the nostalgic self-service line, where crew members in Crafty Coyote hats will dish out plump, juicy chicken tenders, crispy wings, a take on chicken and biscuits and more, all complemented by a mouthwatering array of sassy pup sauces. Alternative chicken options will also be available to ensure everyone can get a taste of Crafty’s creations, while sides such as fresh-cut fries available plainly salted or loaded, homemade pickles and more will be available to accompany the poultry feast.  And of course, no meal is complete without a sweet finish, so Crafty’s Kitchen will offer boysenberry pie shakes made from pies that will be baked (not stolen!) daily.

As the story goes, Crafty’s Kitchen is the previously shuttered factory cafeteria of the Beary Factory, and Crafty Coyote has decorated his new place with mementos of his villainous days while also showcasing inspiration for his newfound turn at making an honest living. The walls will be lined with playful mug shots, wanted posters, and blueprints for Crafty’s wacky fryer inventions, blending Knott’s Berry Farm nostalgia with a fresh, contemporary vibe. With its fun signage and spirited atmosphere, Crafty’s Kitchen promises a flavorful, mischievous dining experience unlike any other in the park.

LONG BEACH, CA (January 21, 2026) - Thirteenth Floor Entertainment Group, producers of the famed Queen Mary’s Dark Harbor, announced the debut of an all new immersive experience, Dark Masquerade. This special event will operate for a limited run, opening its doors on Friday the 13th and running through Saturday, February 14th, perfect for those who prefer a hint of dark romance with their Valentine’s Day celebrations.

Dress to haunt, and be haunted, at Dark Masquerade, an after-hours takeover of the Queen Mary. Sway through a high-energy masquerade dance party under dimmed chandeliers and creeping fog, then slip into the ship’s belly for story-driven encounters where Dark Harbor icons pull you deeper into their legends. “Dark Masquerade gives our fans the chance to dive further into the world of Dark Harbor than ever before,” said Thirteenth Floor’s Director of Special Projects, Brett Bertolino, “This all-new, immersive, story-driven experience expands the lore of our legendary icons through intimate scenes and unexpected encounters and offers a chilling glimpse of what awaits this fall aboard the Queen Mary.”

• The Ringmaster’s Dark Masquerade - Dance Party: This is the heartbeat of the night! Dance the night away as The Ringmaster and their Henchies command the floor while DJ Kiltrina (LVCFT) keeps the pulse relentless. Expect fog, flash, and a few sly tricks from the Big Top.
• Gale’s Requiem - Atmospheric encounter in a rarely accessed area of the ship, featuring immersive storytelling, live music, and character interactions: Descend six fathoms and follow bass-heavy vibrations along grated catwalks past gauges and humming pipes. Step into the “resonance” circle to feel the pulse climb as Dr. Edwin Masters’ final test unravels and Graceful Gale seizes the baton—turning the room, and you, into her orchestra.
• The Search for Mary - Traverse the depths of the Queen Mary with only a glow stick: Guided by the glow of a single red glowstick, you and your sweetheart slip through shadowed corridors in pursuit of mischievous Scary Mary. Keep close. She loves to play…and she hates goodbyes.
• Sweethearts’ Slaughterhouse - Interactive experience with a small curated treat, themed storytelling, and character interaction: Peek past swinging kitchen doors, thread the prep line between hanging “orders,” and decode the Chef’s love-letter menu before you’re offered a bite-sized “tasting.” Decide if you dare a nibble… before the dessert bites back.

​VIP Admission to the event includes all experiences listed above, with expedited entry and priority access to Gale’s Requiem. VIP guests will also receive access to an exclusive experience, Pressure Test: Bound Below. Your wrists click shut; the ship starts to sing. Cuffed together, you and your chosen companion submit to Half Hatch Henry’s pressure test, noise, darkness, and proximity, as the Queen Mary’s machinery sets the tempo. Universal Fan Fest Nights is an after-hours, separately ticketed event that celebrates the exhilarating world of fandom through immersive and interactive in-world experiences created by the theme park’s renowned and highly creative entertainment team in collaboration with esteemed industry experts. All experiences and activations are included every event night for guests to enjoy. Here’s what guests can expect at this year’s Universal Fan Fest Nights, with more to be announced soon.

• Scooby-Doo Meets The Universal Monsters: Mystery on the Backlot. This all-new, immersive walk-through adventure is designed to give guests the sensation of stepping into a live-action mystery with the Scooby-Doo gang and the Universal Monsters. Guests will travel to the destination via Studio Tour tram where they have a chance to walk along a movie studio backlot with Scooby-Doo himself and his pals Fred, Daphne, Velma and Shaggy. The exciting escapade will challenge them to solve a mystery involving the most legendary Universal Monsters in cinematic history, including Frankenstein, Dracula, Bride of Frankenstein and Wolf Man, as they navigate portions of Universal’s world-famous outdoor film sets, from the cobblestone streets of Little Europe to the iconic Court of Miracles, the original filming locations for historic Universal horror films Frankenstein (1931) and The Wolf Man (1941).
• ONE PIECE: Grand Pirate Show. ONE PIECE returns to Universal Fan Fest Nights, but this time as a live show extravaganza at the WaterWorld show venue. Inspired by the success of the Universal Studios Japan production, ONE PIECE: Grand Pirate Show will invite guests to a whirlwind performance featuring a cast of ONE PIECE fan-favorite characters. With action, comedy and chaos taking center stage, guests will be transported to the very heart of the world of ONE PIECE – enveloped in friendship, freedom and mayhem.
• The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. This new, unique, walk-through experience will take guests into the depths of the Forbidden Forest in search of a lost Hippogriff. With guidance from a Hogwarts Professor, they will encounter magical creatures and familiar beasts as they face a series of obstacles which will require the guests to summon their bravery and spell-casting skills to help a Hippogriff in need.
• SUPER NINTENDO WORLD – Colorful Yoshi Celebration. This year’s Universal Fan Fest Nights introduces a vibrant, multi-colored Yoshi celebration in SUPER NINTENDO WORLD. This all-new adventure will welcome guests to explore the land, where they will have a chance to meet new, colorful Yoshis who can be found throughout the Mushroom Kingdom.
• DUNGEONS & DRAGONS: Secrets of Waterdeep. This fan-favorite immersive experience returns due to popular demand, along with some enhancements. Inspired by the World’s Greatest Roleplaying Game™, DUNGEONS & DRAGONS (D&D), this epic walk-through experience will welcome guests and fans to partake in a one-of-a-kind adventure and explore the fantastic world of D&D. Guests will join the Harpers—a heroic spy network—to foil a plot by the legendary beholder Xanathar and save the city of Waterdeep.
