TAMPA, Fla. (Feb. 26, 2018) – Chart-topping artists Sister Hazel and Edwin McCain, and Latin sensation Grupo Niche will take the stage this weekend at Busch Gardens® Tampa Bay’s fourth annual Food & Wine Festival.
The festival takes place on Saturdays and Sundays now through April 29. Concerts are included with any Pass, Fun Card or daily admission.

Concord Water Park is Now Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Concord
Park Introduces Massive New Water Attraction and Major Renovations
CONCORD, Calif. — February 22, 2018 -- Waterworld Concord will be rebranded Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Concord, when it opens this spring for the 2018 season. Northern California’s biggest and most thrilling waterpark will debut an exciting new attraction--Splashwater Island—a colossal water play area featuring more than 100 interactive sprayers, water jets and geysers. The park will also receive extensive theming and upgrades throughout the 30-acre property.
“Six Flags is a world-renowned leader in thrills and innovation and we are excited to add the Six Flags Hurricane Harbor name to our newest park,” said Six Flags Discovery Kingdom and Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Concord President Don McCoy. “The new Splashwater Island attraction will delight families with young children and guests of all ages will enjoy the colorful, new theming and many park enhancements.”
Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Concord opens for the season on May 5 and later this spring will debut Splashwater Island, the largest addition to the park in over a decade. This multi-level play structure offers dancing fountains, water curtains and a giant tipping bucket. Guests will climb up ladders, splash down seven thrilling slides, and navigate multiple platforms and climbing nets. Guests will also enjoy new luxury cabanas and comfortable lounge chairs.
A bold, new entrance marquee will greet guests as they first enter the park. Other upgrades will include newly renovated dining areas and retail shops. Many of the water slides and attractions will receive fresh, brightly-colored paint treatments and new signage.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Honors Two Decades of Wild Encounters With 20th Anniversary Celebration
LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. (February 22, 2018) – Disney’s Animal Kingdom will mark its 20th anniversary on Earth Day, April 22, with more wild adventures than ever before – kicking off spring and setting the stage for an incredible summer filled with all-new events and experiences at the Walt Disney World Resort.
Commemorating the milestone year, the 500-acre adventure park will offer animal encounters, family-friendly activities, specialty desserts and more during an expanded Party for the Planet celebration April 22-May 5.
Over the two-week “Party for the Planet” celebration, guests can attend conservation talks by animal-care experts and participate in enhanced interactions with some of the more than 2,000 animals that make their home at the Association of Zoos and Aquariums-accredited park.
Rafiki’s Planet Watch will take center stage for the year-long 20th anniversary. It’s home to fun educational exhibits and activities that help create awareness of animal issues. During the 20th anniversary, Rafiki’s Planet Watch will offer backstage experiences with experts where guests can learn about animal nutrition, visit the veterinary hospital and hear how Disney promotes global wildlife conservation.
Guests can also commemorate their visits to the theme park with special photo opportunities. They can step into an oversized picture frame celebrating the park’s 20th anniversary. Other photo frames support Disney’s “Reverse the Decline,” an initiative created to help protect 10 threatened animal species. One recent success of the program was the birth of two critically endangered Sumatran Tiger Cubs at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Just for kids is the chance to earn a limited-edition badge as part of the Wilderness Explorer program. The badge is one of many that youngsters can earn by completing fun activities throughout the park.
