Disneyland Resort Will Debut New Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party, Coming to Disney California Adventure Park with a New ‘World of Color’ Spectacular
Separate-ticket party is offered on 20 select nights beginning Sept. 17, while Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort is celebrated daily at both parks from Sept. 6-Oct. 31
ANAHEIM, Calif. (July 30, 2019) – Disneyland Resort is bringing a new event to guests of all ages this Halloween season with Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party, at Disney California Adventure Park. This unforgettable night of Halloween fun is packed with exclusive new entertainment, from the new“World of Color” spectacular – “Villainous!,” to an interactive “Descendants”-inspired dance party, a stage show with Mickey Mouse, and a mysterious Disney villains walk-through experience. Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party will add to the fun of Halloween time, celebrated throughout the Disneyland Resort from Sept. 6 through Oct. 31.
At the new Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party, Oogie Boogie (from “Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas”) has cast his spell and he summons the Disney villains to scare up some thrilling surprises. All of Disney California Adventure takes on Halloween flair for the party, from special music and décor to character encounters, treat trails and new live entertainment experiences.
Oogie Boogie Bash, which takes the place of Mickey’s Halloween Party, begins Sept. 17, for 20 select nights. The after-hours party treats guests to multiple new experiences that are fun for the entire family, including the new “World of Color” nighttime spectacular, “Villainous!,” a walk-through experience at Redwood Creek Challenge Trail called Villains Grove, immersive treat trails featuring Disney villains, the DescenDANCEinteractive dance party, and more. Adults and children are encouraged to dress in costume for the party as they trick-or-treat throughout Disney California Adventure for a scary good time. Knott’s Scary Farm to Lift the Veil on New Freighting Details in Store for 2019 at Midsummer Scream

Fright Fest Zombie Auditions – August 3, 9, 17, 24 & 30
Individuals with a love for Halloween are encouraged to visit Six Flags Great Adventure July 27 at 1 p.m. for Fright Fest zombie auditions. Group auditions are perfect for those with no previous experience in scaring, and include fun exercise before a panel of judges. Applicants are encouraged to showcase their quirky, strange, funny and creepy qualities. All participants must be at least 16 years old. Auditions take place in the Employment Center and applicants will enter through the employee entrance at 609 Monmouth Road, Jackson NJ. Jeremy Camp and Tenth Avenue North in Concert – August 3
Six Flags Great Adventure will team up with Star 99.1FM to present CELEBRATION! featuring Jeremy Camp and Tenth Avenue North live in concert August 3 at 7:30 p.m.in the Northern Star Arena. The celebration of faith and fun will be included with theme park admission, active Membership or Season Pass. Star 99.1 will also host a family picnic which will feature an all-you-can-eat buffet. The picnic will allow guests to interact with Star 99.1 personalities, win great prizes and enjoy music from the Star 99.1 playlist. Jeremy Camp has 12 years of accolades as a songwriter and recording artist, including four million albums sold, four RIAA gold albums, a multiplatinum DVD, three American Music award nominations and a GRAMMY nomination. RWJBarnabas Health Blood Drive – August 17
RWJBarnabas will host a blood drive at Six Flags Great Adventure’s Employment Center June 30 from 9 a.m. through 2:30 p.m. Each donor will receive one theme park ticket valid for the park. One donation will save up to three lives. Appointments will create the best possible donation experience, as individuals can sign up through RWJUH Donor Club’s website. Donors should use the employee entrance at 609 Monmouth Road, Jackson NJ.
Superhero Glow Run – August 17
Six Flags will host a Superhero fun run August 17 throughout the park at when the sun goes down. Wearing a DC Super Hero cape, participants will have the opportunity to glow as they get covered in UV glow powder. This event is free for any active Gold Plus, Platinum, Diamond and Diamond Elite Member. Registration is required for free event admission, as Members can visit Member Portal to register today under general benefits. Regular Membership, Gold Membership, Season Pass holders and any guest holding any other type of theme park admission must purchase an event ticket to remain in the park for the event. Tickets must be purchased by August 16. Theme park and event admission will be $60.00 plus tax per person, Season Pass holders will pay $25.00 plus tax per person. Caribbean Concert featuring Machel Montano and Friends – August 18
In celebration of the 14th annual Caribbean concert, Six Flags Great Adventure will host Machel Montano, Aidonia, Elephant Man, Nadia Batson, Skiiny Fabulous, Teddyson Johnson and more in concert August 18. SUMMER IS HEATING UP AT SEAWORLD WITH NEW SURPRISE SUMMER-WEEKEND CONCERTS
Alternative rock band Vertical Horizon kicks off series with two free shows a day Aug. 3 and 4
WHAT: Summer just got even hotter at SeaWorld, with the announcement of a new summer weekend-concert series, kicking off with alternative rock band Vertical Horizon. Best known for their hit song, “Everything You Want,” (Billboard’s Most Played Single in 2000), Vertical Horizon will perform two free shows a day at SeaWorld’s outdoor Nautilus Amphitheater on Aug. 3 and 4. The remaining artists for SeaWorld’s summer concert series (which will continue on weekends through Sept. 1) will be announced soon.

DETAILS: Vertical Horizon was founded in the early 1990s by undergraduate students from Georgetown University. With lead singer and founding member Matthew Scannell as frontman, Vertical Horizon recorded several indie albums before being signed to RCA in 1998.
Nautilus Amphitheater will open one hour prior to performance, and seating will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis. Concerts are included with park admission.
