(Nov. 5, 2025) – Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is roaring into 2026 with the ALL-NEW Lion & Hyena Ridge, an extraordinary new addition to the park’s award-winning animal care portfolio and the most ambitious new habitat in more than a decade. This reimagined area of the park expands the existing space to more than double its previous size, creating nearly 35,000 square feet of dynamic savanna terrain where two of Africa’s most iconic species will thrive - a pride of five young male lions and a pair of playful hyenas.
 
Highlights include:

• Immersive Viewing – Step into the savanna through expansive glass viewing areas and shaded pathways offering awe-inspiring, 270-degree perspectives of the new habitat.
• Innovative Habitat Design – A naturalistic environment featuring rocky kopje formations, cascading water elements, and diverse spaces that allow the animals to choose and explore their surroundings throughout the day.

LAS VEGAS (September 29, 2025) – Universal Horror Unleashed in Las Vegas is bringing the darker side of winter folklore to life with the all-new “Krampus & Kin,” an immersive holiday experience starting November 15 through January 3, 2026, where guests can encounter yule born horrors, capture eerie photo-ops, and indulge in seasonal food and drinks inspired by their lore.

“Krampus & Kin” offers guests an eerie twist on the holidays, where they’ll encounter monstrous myths of dark yule like Krampus, Grýla, and the Kallikantzaroi. Guests will brave the terror of these ancient entities at photo ops, where they can pose with Krampus on his twisted throne, step into Grýla’s cauldron, or stand beneath the cursed canopy of the Kallikantzaroi’s rotting tree. In addition to photo ops, guests will witness a grand processional that will fill the abandoned warehouse as creatures and their unearthly followers parade through, leaving behind tokens of their legend.

Throughout the new sinister holiday experience, regional storytellers will bring the folklore to life and share the eerie and fascinating origins of each creature. As guests listen, they’ll also have the chance to indulge in flavors rooted in centuries of winter folklore, including a Krampus-themed dessert “Krampus’ Snow Globe,” Grýla’s Char, Chicken Souvlakichos, and more.
