TIME TO LIGHT SEAWORLD CHRISTMAS TREE: On Thursday evening, Nov. 15, a heartwarming tradition will continue at SeaWorld with the ceremonial lighting of the park’s 40-foot Happiest Christmas Tree. This year, SeaWorld San Diego is proud to host families from Solutions for Change, a San Diego non-profit organization that seeks to solve family homelessness, one family and one community at a time.  In addition to the tree lighting, the families will enjoy dinner and dessert at SeaWorld, a meet-and-greet with Rudolph and friends, a chance to meet Santa, and a performance of SeaWorld’s live nativity, O Wondrous Night. In addition, SeaWorld will grant the families tickets to come back to the park sometime during the holiday season to enjoy the rest of SeaWorld’s Christmas Celebration.

SEAWORLD’S CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION HAS SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE: SeaWorld’s Christmas Celebration returns Nov. 17, 2018 and runs through Jan. 6, 2019, with everything from sea lions to Santa! Clyde & Seamore’s Christmas Special stars SeaWorld’s beloved California sea lions, joined by their co-host, O.P. Otter, for a spoof of nighttime holiday TV shows; back this year is O Wondrous Night The Greatest Story Never Told, which tells the Christmas story from a different point of view: through the eyes of animals, in a live nativity musical featuring storytelling puppets and live animals. Plus, SeaWorld San Diego is the only theme park on the West Coast where people can meet Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, who returns this holiday season in Rudolph’s Christmastown, and, new for 2018, the loveable reindeer can be seen in Rudolph’s Movie Experience, complete with special effects including snowfall and the aroma of hot chocolate. Park guests can also cozy up at Santa’s Christmas Village for storytime with Mrs. Claus, pictures with Santa and merry moments with Santa’s elves. Playful dolphins celebrate the holidays tropical style in Dolphin Island Christmas, and the entire park is decked out with hundreds of Christmas trees, 5,000 feet of garland and more than a million holiday lights, including SeaWorld’s 320-foot Skytower Tree of Lights, Southern California’s largest Christmas tree. Also new this season is the Three Kings Procession, performed Jan. 1-6 only. For more information visit: www.SeaWorldSanDiego.com.

GIVE THE GIFT OF SEAWORLD WITH NEW ANNUAL PASS OPTIONS: SeaWorld continues to be the San Diego value leader with its new annual Passes. For as low as $7.99 a month for a Bronze Pass, the best price of the year, guests will receive 12 months admission, exclusive events and giveaways, and savings on parking. The monthly installment for this new annual Pass is the lowest in recent history, allowing guests to have fun and meaningful experiences at the park, at a value price that is extremely affordable. The introduction of the new tiered annual Pass program provides increasing levels of value, as much as $580, as well as flexibility, making SeaWorld the place to visit over and over again in 2019.  For more information visit: www.SeaWorldSanDiego.com.

WALRUS AWARENESS WEEK COMING UP: SeaWorld is proud to participate in Walrus Awareness Week Dec. 2-8, 2018. Along with participating zoological parks across the country, SeaWorld will celebrate the species with special presentations that bring awareness to some of the challenges they face in the wild, including that they are becoming more separated from their food sources located on the continental shelf, due to loss of sea ice. SeaWorld’s walrus experts will educate guests about walruses, including tips on what all of us can do to help. SeaWorld’s Wild Arctic walrus habitat is home to three walruses: two males named Mitik and Dozer and a female named Chouchou (pronounced SHOO-shoo). Fun fact: Despite tipping the scale at more than 3,500 pounds, walruses are really fast swimmers.  For more information www.SeaWorldSanDiego.com.
