MIKE AND IKE® Game Zone Weekend – June 1 & 2
Basketball lovers will have the opportunity to participate in the MIKE AND IKE® 3 Point Challenge Game at Six Flags Great Adventure June 1 and 2. The first eight guests to check in at 3 Point Challenge at 12:00 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, will have the opportunity to sign up to compete in the tournament bracket. Participants will get the chance to win giveaways. Guests who buy two theater boxes of MIKE AND IKE at participating in-park retail locations will receive a voucher for one complimentary play for the 3 Point Challenge Game to use during MIKE AND IKE Game Zone Weekend. The 3 Point Challenge Game also offers “sweet” savings for the month of June. June 1 through, guests will receive one coupon for $5 off the 3 Point Challenge Game with the purchase of two theater boxes. Elite Tuner Car Show – June 2 Six Flags Great Adventure will host Elite Tuner’s biggest show on the East Coast June 2. The show runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Roll in begins at 6 and ends at 10 a.m. All participating cars must be at the gate before 10 a.m.Theme park admission is additional. The show takes place June 8 in the Northern Star Arena and begins at 7 p.m. Active memberships, Season Passes, or theme park admission will allow guests to enjoy the night of music for free. Lecrae Devaughn Moore, a Christian hip hop artist from Houston, has released nine albums and earned top spots on the Billboard Gospel Albums, Christian Albums and Heatseekers Album charts. In 2013, he became the first hip-hop artist to win the Grammy Award for Best Gospel Album. He also became the first rapper to win the BET award for Best Gospel Artist in 2015. Andy Mineo, a Christian hip-hop artist from New York City, has released two studio albums and two mixtapes. Mineo released countless hit singles over the past few years, including “Stop the Traffic” and “I Will.” Six Flags Slam Fest – June 15 Northeast Wrestling presents Six Flags Slam Fest June 15 at 7 p.m. in the Movietown Arena. Theme park admission guarantees access to the main event. Various superstars from the WWE will attend the event, including WWE Hall of Famer and Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Angle, Renee Young, WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley, Booker T and the Boogeyman. Solar Plunge to benefit Special Olympics – June 21 Six Flags Hurricane Harbor invites guests to “take the plunge” to benefit Special Olympics of New Jersey with the Solar Plunge on the summer solstice. For the first day of summer, and the longest day of the year, guests who raise money for Special Olympics will take the Six Flags Solar Plunge into an ice-chilled pool. Event check-in begins at 9 a.m. The Solar Plunge will take place at 9:30 a.m. Participants must register through Special Olympics and pay the $25 registration fee by June 19 in order to take the plunge. The more money an individual raises, the closer they will get to receiving event day perks. To access the Employment Center, drive ¼ mile past the park’s main entrance on Route 537 West and make a left into the park’s service entrance. One donation will save up to three lives. Appointments will create the best possible donation experience, as individuals can sign up through RWJUH Donor Club’s website.
