Six Flags Over Georgia Returns with Bigger Thrills for the Entire Family

Season Full of Unforgettable Adventures Starts March 7

AUSTELL, Georgia — March 4, 2020 — Six Flags Over Georgia—the Thrill Capital of the South—launches its most sensational season in park history full of unforgettable adventures starting March 7. This season is set to be the biggest and best in the park’s 53 year history, with the return of family favorite rides like JUSTICE LEAGUE: Battle for Metropolis, Twisted Cyclone and Pandemonium, along with new food offerings and incredible entertainment.
 
“There’s no better destination than Six Flags Over Georgia for families and friends seeking the ultimate ticket to fun this year,” said Park President Dale Kaetzel. “The opportunities to make lasting memories are endless and our beautiful park is the perfect backdrop to make the most of family time this spring.”
 
During Opening Weekend, the park will debut the all-new Coaster Candy Express store featuring a huge selection of tasty candies and on-the-go snacks like hand-dipped candy apples and homemade fudge. The newly reimagined Looney Tunes Exposition store will feature the park’s iconic character-themed apparel and gifts.
 
Also new for 2020, the park is introducing an expanded menu of new and healthy food choices at several dining locations including fried pickles, fried green beans, gluten-free pizza, gluten-free brownies and non-dairy Dippin’ Dots.
 
Guests will also get a bird’s-eye view of the construction for the all-new GOTHAM CITY, debuting later this spring. GOTHAM CITY will feature two new family attractions— CATWOMAN Whip and POISON IVY Toxic Spin—plus new retail and dining options for the entire family to experience together.
 
Later this spring, the park will roll out its partnership with the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES) to ensure guests with autism and other special needs have the best possible experience when visiting Six Flags Over Georgia. The certification process will provide team members with the tools and proper training to better serve guests with special needs.
