 Last week, Steve and Jennifer headed out to Busch Gardens Tampa to take in this years Food and Wine Festival. Of course, that meant getting some awesome pics of Iron Gwazi construction. Who's ready to ride this beast? We sure are!! Take a look. Written by Steve Burant Last Friday we went to Busch Gardens for more Food & Wine fun, but really it was to take some well-lit photos of the current progress on Iron Gwazi's construction.  This ride is going to rape my face, and I'm going to love every second of it.  Still not crazy about the name, but the logo and sign look good.  Look at those coordinated twisties!  The station fly by where the two old Gwazi trains used to fly by each other.  Give me all the overbanks. All of them.  I mean technically we were here for this. What a sign!  Even the moon is like, "Hey there, looking good."  "HEY! What if the moon were made of Iron Gwazi, would you eat it??"  Mooooooon Gwaziiiiiii, shorterrrrrr than a mileeee............  Until I get a better lens, this is the best I can do with moon photos, so I'll take as many as I can during the day.  This is the barrel roll under the lift hill. One could expect a bevy of loose change to be under this element in the near future.  RMC's famous wrong-way banked airtime hill. This is the 2nd hill of the ride and will be sure to provide some fantastic hairtime.  Some ridiculous type of inversion formulated in the same secret lab as Covid-19. Steepest hybrid coaster in the world by a whopping 1 degree!  *chef's kiss*  I wonder if the manufacturers who build these terrible wooden coasters are secretly proud that their monstrosities were the foundation of incredible creations by a better engineering firm.  That's enough of the 2nd hill for now. This element will rock my socks.  And the last look at the first hill that will surely be phenomenal.  This barrel roll will also be spectacular. 11/18/2019 Christmas Town 2019 at Busch Gardens Tampa Over the weekend we were invited out to Busch Gardens Tampa to experience this years Christmas Town.  It's the Christmas Turkey!!  Sing Along Train!!   Lots of lights to see everywhere   Oh, we had to take a look at Iron Gwazi construction. Don't forget, train reveal tomorrow at IAAPA!!      The cracker of nuts  You had us at Penguins!!    Model trains are the best  Saturday night was pretty busy, so we came back on Monday night and as you can see, the crowds were nice and light.  No melt snow people. Snow Persons?  SANTA! I KNOW HIM.  Lots of pretty lights to see as the sun goes down   Welcome to K758U QXAZ! Or could it be the North Pole?  It's a new week and we're back with some amazing Halloween Event updates from this past weekend. Today we're in Tampa as Renee and Tyler were there for opening night to take in the 20th anniversary of this awesome event. Let's check it out!! Written by Renée Girar We’re walking down the blood stained carpet at Busch Gardens Tampa for the 20th anniversary of Howl O Scream!    Already making new friends.   Festive scares all around among the Dia de los Muertos.     Our first house of the night and returning for a second year is Insomnia: Patients’ Revenge.     Taking a break for some snacks and drinks before heading into more scares.   Enjoyed some scares from the south at one of our returning favorites, Death Water Bayou: Wrath of the Queen.     Rocking out with these creepers in the Hell on Wheels scare zone.     I managed to escape the cage.   Ventured into Simon’s Slaughterhouse, but would have enjoyed it a lot more if the team member guests behind us didn’t have their phone flashlight lit the entire time.   The meat market is not vegetarian friendly!     Motel Hell: Infestation is back for more, and this time, they might need an exterminator.   I appreciate some of the repeat houses, because most of them are awesome. But I think The Black Spot has lived its life and I wouldn’t mind seeing something new here next year.     Back row night rides on Kumba? Yes please!  You never know who, or what, you might encounter along the dark pathways of the park.    More friends!  The Residence was the one new house this year. Unclear of the storyline, but some good scares.  Looks like Busch Gardens is doing one of those coffin challenges next week. I would love a 24 hour nap!   If a rabbit with a chainsaw is what you think of when you think of Deadly Toys, then you’d be right.   The Trickster, one of the event’s previous icons, made an appearance for the 20th anniversary.  Here’s to 20 years of fear! Busch Gardens always knows how to put on a fantastic Halloween event!   Related Videos
