Opening Night of Christmas Town 2021 at Busch Gardens Tampa

We’re at Busch Gardens for the opening night of one of favorite events, Christmas Town!

Fingers Crossed!

First up, sampling some of the food and drinks they have available this year. We started with the Totchos and Chicken & Donut.

Next up, we got adventurous with the Impossible Nachos. Highly recommend!

Next on the agenda…Loaded Mashed Potatoes and Maple Bourbon Pecan Pie.

Dessert concludes with Chocolate Kahlua Beignets and Hot Chocolate that we made Jolly with Peppermint Schnapps! Yum!

You can find Mrs. Claus telling stories and singing songs several times each night at the Coke Canopy.

After getting our fill of the various treats and drinks, we took a lap around the park to check out the light displays.

Howl-O-Scream 2021 at Busch Gardens Tampa

This past weekend we were invited out to Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens Tampa to get our scare on at the always amazing Howl-O-Scream. Some new and returning houses were on hand in addition to some amazing scare zones!

And now on our tour of haunts around the country this weekend, we’re at Busch Gardens Tampa!

Love the Halloween atmosphere but not a fan of being scared? You can get yourself a “No Boo” necklace.

Kicking off our night at Howl-O-Scream by drinking beer with giraffes.

Voodoo scare zone!

It’s so beautiful.

Death Water Bayou is always such a great house.

The Junkyard is an awesome walk through/scare zone where you can revisit some scares from the past.

So many scare actors in The Junkyard.

Witch of the Woods was absolutely amazing!

In the Shadows scare zone, so creepy and fun!

The Forgotten took us into the dark and sexy vampire world.

If you need some liquid courage, there are plenty of drink options.

Skeleton Crew scare zone had pirates out and about.

A crowd favorite, zombies and bumper cars!

I feel like every haunted event has to have clowns somewhere.

The Residence is one of the returning houses, honestly not my favorite but has some good scares.

Little Nightmares was one of my favorite scare zones. They’re just so cute!

The Shortcut scare zone, definitely the most dark and morbid.

We’ve reached the final house of the night, Cell Block Zombies. There have been prison houses and zombie houses before, so why not put them together - what could go wrong?!

Thanks for a great night at Busch Gardens Howl O Scream! Loved seeing this event fully back with all the scares and houses!

Busch Gardens Tampa Iron Gwazi Update - March 3, 2020

Last week, Steve and Jennifer headed out to Busch Gardens Tampa to take in this years Food and Wine Festival.

Of course, that meant getting some awesome pics of Iron Gwazi construction. Who's ready to ride this beast? We sure are!! Take a look.

Last Friday we went to Busch Gardens for more Food & Wine fun, but really it was to take some well-lit photos of the current progress on Iron Gwazi's construction.

This ride is going to rape my face, and I'm going to love every second of it.

Still not crazy about the name, but the logo and sign look good.

Look at those coordinated twisties!

The station fly by where the two old Gwazi trains used to fly by each other.

Give me all the overbanks. All of them.

I mean technically we were here for this. What a sign!

Even the moon is like, "Hey there, looking good."

"HEY! What if the moon were made of Iron Gwazi, would you eat it??"

Mooooooon Gwaziiiiiii, shorterrrrrr than a mileeee............

Until I get a better lens, this is the best I can do with moon photos, so I'll take as many as I can during the day.

This is the barrel roll under the lift hill. One could expect a bevy of loose change to be under this element in the near future.

RMC's famous wrong-way banked airtime hill. This is the 2nd hill of the ride and will be sure to provide some fantastic hairtime.

Some ridiculous type of inversion formulated in the same secret lab as Covid-19.

I wonder if the manufacturers who build these terrible wooden coasters are secretly proud that their monstrosities were the foundation of incredible creations by a better engineering firm.
