Six Flags Magic Mountain General Park Update - March 2, 2026

Welcome to Six Flags Magic Mountain! It's our first update in a few months, so lots to get to.

It was a gorgeous day at the park

Full Throttle FINALLY got some new coverings for the queue, it only took 13 years.

Too bad the wait from here took over an hour. For those who don't know, it's a straight shot into the station from here. No switch backs. Typically a 20 minute wait.

Not much has changed in the spot for the new coaster.

Golden Bear Theater seats are still there.

Some work has started for the Bugs Bunny World Expansion!

The artwork is below as a reminder of what's coming.

Some of the Ninja switchbacks got removed and the Fast Lane Entrance has been moved. Works much better here.

Still lots of "rumors" out there about the Sky Tower. The last we heard it was going to cost more than $3 Million to get it up to code. And that was at least 10 years ago. So it's likely much more costly now.

The coaster mural has a spot for the new coaster, but apparently it's been here for awhile. Oops.

Some new merch! Let's see if we can tell the difference. This one uses an actual X2 photograph.

And the much worse this.

Seriously, what even is that? Come on Theme Parks. We all want original merch, but AI isn't the way to do it. There are so many amazing artists out there who'd love to be commissioned to do work like this.

At first glance I was a fan of this one.

And then I looked closer.

Finally, they've finished installing some EV chargers in the lot. I couldn't tell what brand they were as I was driving by. Hopefully they'll be in use soon. I'm not sure if you have to have preferred parking to use them or not since they're in that area.
