11/7/2022 0 Comments Universal Studios Hollywood Update: Grinchmas, HHN, Super Nintendo World and More - November 7, 2022For the first time in a few months we headed out to Universal Studios Hollywood for a general update and had a great morning at the park. Lots of pics and video of Super Nintendo World, Christmas prep and HHN take-down. There's a lot to get into, so let's get into it!  Welcome to Universal Studios Hollywood! Be sure to check out the video below.  Halloween is now gone from New York Street!  Christmas has already arrived in Pet's Place   Honestly, I'm ready for it!  Some of HHN still exists, but probably won't be here for very long   A lonely clown all wrapped up to be preserved. Wonder if Killer Clowns will end up somewhere else someday.  I wonder if Gene Green ever found his dog ...  Alright, let's move onto Super Nintendo World  It's looking amazing, we can't wait!   The new Universal Campus is coming along (sorry, I had a brain fart in the video)   For some reason, some of the soundstage covering looks very "Yoshi's Island"   From on the lower lot on the Studio Tour  Looks like some queue or perhaps a break room?   The sign is up!! It's actually happening!   They were doing some work in between Jurassic Café and the restrooms. Perhaps an exit for the land?   Wonder if they're going to do more covering of the Transformers building, hope so   Bowsers Castle <3   A close up view of the sign  Hey there Monster, let's go look at some merchandise!!  As of last Friday, all HHN merchandise was 90% off, there wasn't much left and there is probably less now  Let's check out the Universal Studio Store. Most of the Holiday merch is similar to the last couple of years. But did see some awesome UniVrsl store merch.
 Really not sure why this is still here. Aren't there 2 other LA football teams? Hasn't this team moved twice since they were in LA? Weird that this is one of very few opening day stores that are still here.  Lastly, let's look at Toothsome!  It's looking absolutely fantastic and can't wait for it's 2023 opening!   Some similarities to Orlando, but enough differences to make it unique! Related Videos

12/6/2021 0 Comments Universal Hollywood Update: Holidays and Super Nintendo World - December 6, 2021This past weekend we made a quick stop at Universal Studios Hollywood to check out some of the holiday fun and of course take a fresh look at Super Nintendo World. The new land at the park is definitely moving along at a brisk pace now and we are really starting to see some major changes! The park is in full swing for the holidays featuring shows, treats, and lots of awesome looking decorations! Let's head in for a look! Written by Gregg Condon  Happy Merry Everything! Love it!
 Grinchmas is back! And looks great as always!  A look at the show times last Saturday. Showtimes may be (and probably are) different on other nights.   One of our favorite holiday trees  Lots of yummy hot chocolates that we'll have to try on our next visit  Lots of yummy Grinch'y treats too! 
 Love this area of the park!  Definitely make sure you check out all the windows in this area!   I met a friend!!  All new decorations in Pets Place, and they look great!
  Beware, the playlist on the Star Way will knock you out of Whamageddon. =)  Oh yeah, lots of Super Nintendo World work going on! Much more in our video update posted above!    Love the Holiday Studio Directory!    Some new holiday merchandise!

11/23/2021 0 Comments Universal Studios Update: Super Nintendo World and Holiday Prep - November 23, 2021During our marathon day last Friday, our first stop was at Universal Studios Hollywood. While the holidays have not officially started at the park yet, there was a lot to see, lots being prepared for the holidays and of course, a lot of work going on at Super Nintendo World! Let's head into the park! Written by Gregg Condon  Always love the tree at Citywalk. Note: Why can't we get those types of barriers for HHN? =)  Santa Kong is the best Kong  Even though the Holidays at the park don't begin until November 26th, still lots of Holiday touches and merchandise!   What's up snow person! 
 I got to meet the future Max!!!  Lots of progress on Super Nintendo World     You could see a lot of movement going on inside the building    Hoping they do something with the rest of the exposed building here  Lower Lot Christmas Tree  Rode the Mummy, because I could. =)  Lots of great merchandise all through the park    Had a thought to watch all of the movies on the Universal timeline, maybe in 2022  It was finally cool enough for Hot Butterbeer!   Who Car  I think I need this!  Lots of Grinchmas merchandise, some returning designs, but some new too!
