    Midsummer Scream’s Spooky Holiday Convention Haunts the Halls of Pasadena Convention Center Once Again with Ho-Ho-Horrific Mazes, Swirling Fog, Evil Elves and Thrills for All – Passes Now on Sale!
    PASADENA, CA – Season’s Screamings, the sinister holiday-themed counterpart to Midsummer Scream, the world’s largest Halloween and horror convention, announces the return of its Hall of Yuletide Spirits, featuring an exciting lineup of twisted attractions from some of the most creative and talented haunters in Southern California! Passes are now on sale at www.MidsummerScream.org.
     
    Guests will enter the completely darkened Hall of Yuletide Spirits through an elaborate display created by Fear Farm Haunt (from Phelan) called “The North-ish Pole”, where it’s always Christmas Eve-il as sinister elves hide behind smashed presents, candy rots and drips off sickly-sweet buildings, and twisted toys wait to be delivered to unsuspecting boys and girls around the world where they will spread holiday fear! Beware the Gingerbread Man!
    Once inside the Hall of Yuletide Spirits, guests will have their pick of haunts and displays to explore including:
     
    Holiday Nightmare from the Dreich Society (Ontario), a mashup of their summer and Halloween Japanese-themed maze with a Christmas twist; The Haunt With No Name… Yet (Tarzana) will present a beautiful cemetery vignette featuring Christmas spiders that have gifted a poor family with beautiful webs for their tree; Casa Calaveras: Holiday Fiesta (Orange County) is a delightful walk-through experience for the whole family that celebrates the most joyous season with José and Gloria the happy DEAD couple in eye-popping festive color under blacklight; Santa Ana Haunt (Santa Ana) returns with its “Santa’s Naughty List” experience, where guests can walk through the North Pole’s jailhouse, to see who’s been very bad this year; Ghostwood Manor (Pasadena) home haunt makes its debut at a Season’s Screamings with “Pharaoh’s Hall”, a beautiful-yet-creepy walk-through of an ancient Egyptian tomb; the Pizza Planet Truck returns, and the poor delivery driver is under attack as “Gremlins Take Over!” offering a fun-filled photo op created in partnership with Art’s Sideshow; Prism Haunted House (Westminster) has created a creepy display called “Milk & Cookies”, revealing how Dr. Sanguine leaves Santa treats in his twisted laboratory; Valley Fright Nights (Woodland Hills) will leave guests screaming as they present “Freak Show”, a wild walk-through experience that isn’t clowning around… in thrilling 3D!
     
    Those who want to socialize with friends while visiting the Hall are welcome to hang out at Barlow’s Tavern, where they can interact with Mr. Floats, enjoy signature cocktails and mocktails from the bar, and even take their picture with Santa Barlow, fresh from his coffin in ‘Salem’s Lot!

    Single day and weekend passes are available; premium weekend “Naughty List” passes include one hour show entry on Saturday and Sunday, priority entry to panels, presentations, and attractions, an exclusive lanyard, and a limited-edition commemorative collectible (TBA).

    Dollywood’s Smoky Mountain Christmas runs through Jan. 1

    PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. (Tuesday, November 1, 2022) — With several new lighting displays across its 160 acres, Dollywood theme park—the 14-time winner for Best Theme Park Christmas Event—now boasts more than 6 million shining, shimmering lights as part of the popular Smoky Mountain Christmas presented by Humana (Nov. 5- Jan 1, 2023).  
     
    The event, which easily can be described as one of America’s favorite Christmas traditions, shines brightly thanks to the warmth of gleaming holiday lights, award-winning stage productions, Christmas culinary masterpieces and the warm family traditions so many guests have enjoyed throughout the festival’s 30 plus years.
     
    “I believe each season in the Smokies is a precious gift from above, but I also know there is no better time than Christmas to experience the magic of this special place,” Dolly Parton explained. “Christmas is a time for new memories to be created, cherished family traditions to be celebrated and the love of the holidays to warm us all.”
     
    “It is my wish that our guests celebrate the light of the Christmas season while they are here with us at Dollywood. I also hope they pause long enough to savor the moments spent with one another. It’s those special moments that are sure to become the beautiful memories they will look upon so fondly for so many years.”
     
    Dollywood truly sparkles this Christmas season with new lighting elements throughout the park providing an element of surprise to guests around every corner, even for those aboard the Dollywood Express. Visitors riding the guest-favorite attraction will enjoy a special light show draped across the field located inside the train’s upper turning loop. Another new lighted area is the Village Pass, which features a 130’ light curtain wall that includes programmed movement. This area leads guests from lower Craftsman’s Valley to The Village. Adventures in Imagination shines in pink, platinum and gold decorations—as well as 60 LED butterflies and a new 20’ ft. tall Christmas tree—in an area fittingly called Dolly’s Christmas.
     
    Guests will find hundreds of additional lighted trees throughout the park this year, as well as more new décor elements and eight different light zones to provide each area of Dollywood its own unique look and feel. The new elements add 1 million lights to the park’s already-impressive total, meaning guests will enjoy 6 million lights during this season’s festival.
     
    Returning this year on Friday and Saturday evenings is the “Merry & Bright!” fireworks display, which provides a sparkling ending to the day. “Merry & Bright!” lights the sky above Dollywood with a display set to the rhythm of upbeat contemporary holiday hits. After Christmas, the music changes to help guests ready to ring in the new year. Additionally, the New Year’s version of the show takes place nightly Dec. 26- Jan. 1.
    In one of the most unique experiences during the Christmas season at Dollywood, Old Saint Nick allows visitors a sneak peek into his little cabin in the Smokies. Guests who visit Santa’s cabin can literally see inside as he reviews…the list! Kids discover whether their names are on the naughty or nice list, and they might even have their photo made as they peer through the window during this once-in-a-lifetime chance to catch Santa at work. Santa goes on a well-deserved vacation after Christmas Day, so families wanting to see him in action shouldn’t wait!
     
    Glacier Ridge fills Dollywood’s Timber Canyon, Wildwood Grove, Wilderness Pass and Upper Craftsman’s Valley with an expansive arctic experience sure to inspire and delight guests. Wilderness Pass serves as one of the highlights of Glacier Ridge thanks to the Wonderful Christmas! Plaza Tree Show, which features a 50-ft. tall animated tree sparkling to life to present a fully-synchronized, dazzling light show throughout the evening.     Dollywood’s family favorite shows light up both indoor and outdoor stages.     (Hershey, Pa. – November 2, 2022) – Wildcat is back and seeking vengeance. Hersheypark amusement park today announced the details of its all-new Wildcat’s Revenge hybrid coaster. One of 15 coasters at Hersheypark, the wood and steel hybrid will join one of the largest and most iconic coaster collections in the United States in summer 2023, 100 years after the first Wild Cat ride debuted at the Park.
    Manufactured by Rocky Mountain Construction (RMC), Wildcat’s Revenge adds an all-new steel track with unique elements to the existing wooden framework for a one-of-a-kind thrilling ride experience found only at Hersheypark. The hybrid coaster features a 140-foot hill, maximum speeds of 62 miles per hour and four inversions, including the World’s Largest Underflip.

    “Based on our guest feedback, we knew coaster fans would love a hybrid at Hersheypark, and we’re thrilled to work with RMC on a custom wood and steel coaster with a nod to our history,” said Vikki Hultquist, General Manager of Attractions at Hersheypark. “Wildcat’s Revenge features the very best of RMC’s signature thrills, including four inversions with the World’s Largest Underflip, Inverted Stall, Zero-G Roll and Reversing Downhill Roll.” 
    Unique Hybrid Coaster Experience

    Located in the Midway America region of Hersheypark, Wildcat's Revenge features a fully renovated coaster station with a design that harkens back to the iconic 1923 Wild Cat station, with low-pitched gables around the perimeter of the roof. Guests of Hershey’s height requirement and taller (48 inches and above) will sit in one of three custom trains, showcasing fully-dimensional black, charcoal and silver wild cats exacting revenge on their wooden predecessor. The thematic elements are a design first for Hersheypark.

    The 2-minute and 36-second experience begins as riders climb a 140-foot hill, plunge into an 82-degree drop and hit a maximum speed of 62 miles per hour along 3,510 feet of red track on a black steel and wood structure. The pursuit continues as riders stalk their prey through four inversions, including the World’s Largest Underflip, an inversion that begins with an upward climb, followed by a counterclockwise 270° roll and a dive down towards the side.

    This new coaster joins an impressive lineup of 15 coasters at Hersheypark.     Epcot 40th and International Food and Wine Festival 2022

    Disney Parks EPCOT Food And Wine Festival Guardians Of The Galaxy Cosmic Rewind Walt Disney World WDW 50th World Showcase
    During our epic trip to both Canada where we visited Canada's Wonderland Haunt and Orlando where we visited Halloween Horror Nights Orlando for the first time ever and Universal Orlando Resort for the first time since 2006, we also took the time out to visit Epcot for the first time since 2007. 

    We will be doing a more comprehensive WDW visit next may before our cruise (first time at new Fantasyland, Pandora, Toy Story Land and much more) but for this trip we decided to just have a day at Epcot to hopefully ride Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and spend a day with some Orlando friends at the Food and Wine Festival. 

    We had an amazing day and we can't wait to get back in a few short months.

    The Busch Gardens Tampa Bay annual pass program is divided in the following easy-to-use tiers: bronze, silver, gold, and platinum, the latter being an option that grants access to all 11 SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment locations nationwide including three SeaWorld parks, two Busch Gardens parks, two Sesame Place parks, several award-winning water parks and discounted tickets for Discovery Cove. Additionally, pass members get to be the first to ride Serengeti Flyer, the park’s all-new 2023 ride. Serengeti Flyer will be the world’s tallest and fastest ride of its kind, a screamin’ swing, upon opening in spring 2023. Riders will experience breathtaking views of the park’s expansive 65-acre Serengeti plain as Serengeti Flyer’s twin dueling arms soar progressively higher reaching speeds of 68 mph and a maximum height of 135 feet at the ride’s peak.
