Thirteenth Floor Entertainment Group Announces The Return Of DELUSION, SoCal’s Most Successful Interactive Theatre Experience

From Creator Jon Braver Comes an All-New Spine-Chilling Storyline for Delusion,
    Nocturnes & Nightmares
    (Story Elements from Peter Cameron)
LOS ANGELES | AUGUST 24, 2023 – Thirteenth Floor Entertainment Group, the world’s largest
Halloween-themed entertainment company, today announced the highly anticipated return of their hit
attraction, "Delusion," which will be making its return to the Los Angeles area this fall.

Running from September 21st through November 19th on select nights, the historic Phillips Mansion in
Pomona, CA, will be transfigured into a new ghastly interactive horror theater experience where guests
become key players in a sinister and entangled hour-long interactive escapade. Tickets will go on sale
soon and start at $89.99 on select nights. Guests are highly encouraged to sign up on the website at
www.enterdelusion.com for early ticket access while supplies last.

You can view the 2023 trailer below.
"With 8 seasons of this incredible journey we call Delusion, all things have led to this year's story. Rather, let's call it a compendium!" said Jon Braver, Creator of Delusion." I gave it much thought and felt
an anthology of Delusion stories, woven together like a terrifying tapestry, into an epic live experience
would be something both Delusion fans (aka Delusionals) and newcomers alike will revel in. There is so
much to love, and so much to fantastically fear this Fall!"

This year's chilling narrative, "Nocturnes & Nightmares," brings more to the Delusion saga than meets
the eye. A mysterious figure, only identified as The Author, seemingly birthed every Delusion story from
its inception—bringing words to life and ink to reality. But when is a gift not a gift? Now, with the elusive
author missing and Delusion characters hell-bent on protecting their creator, audiences (Delusionals)
will need to track down The Author and help finish their most important work yet.

This year's event will showcase an array of enhanced on-site dining and beverage choices. The addition
of a garden bar and Marion's Chamber Lounge will offer an exquisite dinner selection complemented by
creatively crafted themed drinks and captivating entertainment.
    NEW This Halloween Season:
    • Spectral Soiree - For those teetering on the edge of madness, the otherworldly Phillips Mansion will embrace you with an evening of specters & spirits. Guests will be granted front-of-thehouse access, allowing them to lurk through dark halls and twisted corners of the expansive mansion as they delight in a myriad of dark offerings such as: the possession of the doll Manny Manners, intimate moments with our evening's host Esther Phillips, a darkly romantic garden bar, a wicked puppet bar hosted by the towering Marion; the master of puppets, a Dark Arts Theater hosting a variety of mystical artists, and finally, if one were to find the courage, something haunts the attic of the mansion. Only those who learn the spell may summon the dead.
    • Behind the Veil: VIP Experience - For the first time, Delusion will offer guests an interactive look behind the scenes of what makes Delusion "the gold standard of horror theater." VIP guests will get the opportunity to interact with actors and crew as they witness the performance happening in real-time. They'll also have the opportunity to don ragged costumes and take part in the action themselves, as they lie in wait as eerie corpses in the foyer, then rise as the undead as they terrify other guests into their next scene. Behind the Veil is the ultimate way for guests to elevate their experience and seize the opportunity to play their part like never before at Delusion.

For additional information, including event specifics, ticket pricing, and more, please visit
www.enterdelusion.com and follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. Delusion is located at
2640 Pomona Blvd, Pomona, CA 91768.

Los Angeles Haunted Hayride Celebrates 15 Years of Fear With Brand-New Features and Attractions

    Picture
LA’s Ultimate Halloween Event Returns to Griffith Park This Fall; Announces Refreshed Experience with Several New Additions
LOS ANGELES, CA | AUGUST 30, 2023 – Thirteenth Floor Entertainment Group, the world’s largest
Halloween-themed entertainment company, announced today that their signature Los Angeles event,
"Los Angeles Haunted Hayride," will be returning to Griffith Park this fall. Opening on September 22
through October 31, tickets are on-sale now at losangeleshauntedhayride.com, with prices starting at
    $29.99 on select nights.

You can view this 2023 trailer below.
Welcome to the Midnight Falls annual Hayride, which offers a scenic tour of the majestic wilderness that
features destinations typically unseen by visitors. This exciting excursion runs continuously during the
Midnight Falls Halloween Festival for tourists to enjoy the wondrous beauty of this beloved town.
Guests must be alert, as this is the time of year when the leaves start to turn and the veil between the
living and the dead is at its thinnest, allowing the Witch of the Woods who has cast her spell to summon
    the spirits of the Underworld.
Celebrating the Haunted Hayride’s 15th anniversary, Thirteenth Floor is significantly updating the
experience to keep longtime fans on their toes this Halloween season. New additions to this year’s show
include brand-new wagons with seating options, updated effects, several new horror scenes, all-new
add-on experiences, and a new maze titled Hellbilly Halloween.

“We listened to your feedback, and are proud to announce that the Haunted Hayride is getting a
significant refresh in 2023,” said Chris Stafford, CEO & Founding Partner of Thirteenth Floor
Entertainment Group. “I’m really excited to announce that we have added all new wagons for the
Hayride experience which feature seating for the first time. This is something our guests have been
requesting each year, and we’re thrilled to make it happen. We have a lot of new and exciting updates
and we look forward to welcoming you all back to Midnight Falls!”
In addition to the Hayride, guests can immerse themselves in the cursed community of Midnight Falls
and enjoy a variety of Halloween-themed activities, attractions, concessions and on-site food trucks.

This year’s Los Angeles Haunted Hayride side attractions will feature:
    • NEW MAZE: Hellbilly Halloween: Venture deep into the backwoods of Midnight Falls where a long rumored cannibalistic family has taken in the spirit of Halloween by dishing out diabolical tricks filled with horrifying treats.
    • NEW – Midnight Falls Axe Throwing: With the curse of the witch plaguing the city of Midnight Falls, learn to protect yourself from the less-than-friendly ghouls. The Axeperts at Midnight Falls will train you up and for only $5 you can try your hand at hitting the bullseye 5 times.
    • NEW – Zombie Splat - A GellyBall Experience: Keep the army of the undead at bay and protect Midnight Falls! Gellyball is completely safe, as it’s much smaller than a traditional paintball and uses a colored water balloon, allowing for a much lighter impact and no permanent mess. Guests will be required to wear protective eyewear, provided at no extra charge, and will be aiming at live actor zombies in a zombie apocalypse simulator.
    • The Monte Revolta Show: Get ready for the ultimate Theatrical Macabre Experience from beyond the grave. It's Monte Revolta... the undead irreverent lounge singer who is bringing the dead back to Rock. Join Monte, Rotly & Ms. Muerte as they exhume an ultra shocking musical, comedy revue.
    • The Town Square of Midnight Falls: The central hub of festivities where guests walk between attractions or hang out to soak in the fear as townsfolk roam the streets and interact with outsiders.
    • Midnight Mortuary: Scorched Earth: Once a beacon of rest and peace, the mortuary has ignited its darkest chambers to show guests a different kind of afterlife. Step into the heat as you’re invited for a rare open house experience, guiding you through the ashen halls where spirits are not set free but forever smoldering in the shadows. The crematorium’s roaring flames are hungry, and those who stray from their group may just find out how it feels to the focus of its insatiable appetite.
    • Trick or Treat: Local homes inside Midnight Falls spring to life, driven by the spirit of Halloween, but it is soon discovered that the ghoulish residents have far more tricks on their mind than treats. The wondrous magic of a traditional neighborhood Halloween celebration is turned upside down as terrors stalk the streets in Trick-or-Treat.

    Step inside, “The Grey Ghost”…

    Deadman’s Wharf: The Storm
Loud claps of thunder and bolts of lightning roll onto the shore hitting what was once a peaceful Fishing town. The storm seems mysteriously strong. Is there something besides a warm front behind this? Escape the reaching tentacles of large sea creatures who have made their way onto the wharf shore as you navigate the storm through a maze of rusted vessels and withering cargo shrouded in fog.  Even if you manage to escape the fog’s grip, you might find yourself surrounded by dangerous, undead seafaring creatures surfacing from their watery graves.

    Pirates Cove
On the hunt for buried treasure, pirates have invaded the local shores and caves searching for riches. Step aboard Deepsea Davey’s pirate ship and make your way through the dark, narrow passageways as you search for your own piece of the treasure. Along the way, you may stumble upon “Captain Shaq’s Hideaway” where you can grab a shot of rum punch and toast to the pirate’s life!

    Midway Madness
Loopey Looney and her loyal Clown Crew have taken over the carnival and turned the fun house into the fear house. Between the giant ferris wheel, bumper cars, and concessions, make sure you look up, look down, you never know where you might spy a creepy clown!  Be Careful or you might end up as the next sideshow act.

    Diesel’s Pumpkin Patch
Here lies a small town of folk who are eerily anxious for autumn each year. They come together to grow, sell and celebrate all things pumpkin. While they seem to be very welcoming, sometimes their smiles turn to devilish grins as they display their gory gourds. Visitors come from afar to this Halloween party. Will you leave with a souvenir or will you join the Cult of the Calabaza?
This one of a kind walk-through experience features a traditional hay bale maze mixed with larger than life inflatables and animations, sinister scares and an over-the-top light show mixing Halloween with a special set by DJ Diesel himself.

    Live Entertainment

LVCRFT Block Party - Come shake your bones and exercise the demons at the LVCRFT Block Party Stage with DJ Reaper and Skeleton Sam slaying Halloween hits all night long. Get the party started before you even step foot at Shaqtoberfest with the official Shaqtoberfest Slaylist. Party don’t stop till we’re six feet deep!

    Shipwreck Graveyard
As you explore this whimsical fishing village you’ll come across the site of a notorious shipwreck filled with larger than life animations, character interactions and tons of photo ops.   If you’re feeling brave you can investigate the mysterious storm that caused the ship to run aground.

    Pop-Up Performances
You never know who, or what, you might see at Shaqtoberfest.   Keep an eye out for pop-up performances throughout the festival including fire spinners on the Block Party Stage, sliders in front of Tiki Terror, clowns on the Midway Madness carnival rides, The Voodoo Sound Company drummers at Diesel’s Boathouse and more!

    Themed Bars and Lounges
Take a break from the scares while you enjoy festive food, drinks, and live entertainment.

    Diesel’s Boathouse
Leave your boat at the dock and head up to Diesel’s Boathouse for craft beers and a game of cornhole.

    Home Court Bar
Located in the center of the action in the Block Party, Home Court bar is your go-to spot for all your favorite drinks. At this bar, everyone's a winner!

    Tiki Terror
Nestled alongside the historic Queen Mary is a bamboo paradise where you’ll find your favorite island cocktails like the Zombie, Mai Tai, Rum Runner and Blue Hawaiian to name a few.

Looney’s Libations - Carnival Themed  Bar
Terrorizing a carnival is hard work, so when Loopey Looney’s clown cronies need a break they head to the local watering hole to kick back, have a few themed cocktails, mocktails, and morsels. However, fear is a full time job, so be ready for more scares and sliders at any given moment! Open to all ages. Must be 21+ to consume alcohol.

HalloweenTime 2023 at the Disneyland Resort - September 13, 2023

Last weekend we headed out to the Disneyland Resort for half day of fun and checking out some of HalloweenTime including Haunted Mansion Holiday (still too soon) and Monsters After Dark (the best Tower).

I will say, it seemed to us that the Halloween offerings at Disneyland have been greatly reduced, and even as the sun set, it didn't seem very "Halloweeny' at the park. While at California Adventure, it seemed like a very lively time with Halloween music, incredible lighting and more.

I have no problem with them making DCA the "Halloween" park, and wish that would only expand.

Let's head in for some Halloween fun!

Even though we went into Disney California Adventure first, let's check out the Disneyland portion of our day!

Haunted Mansion Holiday is now open, and it's Christmas Time in September.

While I absolutely love this layover, I do feel it's around too long.

We got stuck in the stretching room so was able to get a few pics.

I really do love that this is back.

Hera and Chopper are now out in Galaxy's Edge. Love seeing more Rebels out and about. It's way past time to ditch the set timeline in the land and get all of the characters out here.

Somebody did something on the Mark Twain, and now the bow is closed off, a CM is stationed there, and the chairs that are normally in that spot are now in the middle of the bottom deck. Anybody know what happened?

A quick look at Tiana's Bayou Adventure.

Over at California Adventure, the park is fully decked out for Halloween.

Not a new treat for this year, but one of our favorites!

We love Monster's After Dark SO much.

I just wish it was all day during Halloween, it's a shame to miss an hour of the attraction every day.

As night falls on DCA, the amazing lighting is all around.

No Oogie Boogie Bash for us this year, but we're always happy to get a little taste of it.

Cars Land is, IMO, the best interpretation of the source IP of any land at any park. It's just perfect.

We always used to measure our kids height at the White Rabbit Door near the Tea Cups, now there's a new spot for parents to measure their kids! Very cool!

We'll be back at Disneyland in a couple of weekends for more Halloween Fun!
