I'll be honest, my main goal for visiting was to get one of the Minion Halloween Popcorn Buckets. But apparently they had sold out weeks prior. =(

Yep, this is still here. I really wish they'd re-do some of the Studio Tour. I mean, they're STILL talking about Desperate Housewives.

They really are working rather quickly now

In our video we mentioned that the building on the left (with the purple) was Bowsers castle, and were basing this off of Universal Japan. But in looking at the shapes of the building a bit closer, it does appear we're getting a mirrored image of the one in Japan.

That would mean that this is the mountain where the Yoshi ride is in Japan (that Hollywood is reportedly not getting at opening)

And that this is Bowsers Castle, more at the center of the land.

And these are all of the shops and restaurants that are to the left of the entrance in Japan.

I'm sure somebody smarter than me had already picked up on this, but I haven't really seen anything about it.

Looking forward to seeing this project progress over the next few months. Hopefully we'll get an announcement with an opening time-frame soon!

Before we end Halloween season completely, wanted to give some final thoughts on HHN 2021.

We loved that Wizarding World was open, and enjoyed it every time! Now about those Dementors?

Bride of Frankenstein Lives was our favorite maze on opening night, and all the way through the run.

We hope the Universal Monster mazes continue, we'd love to see The Creature next year!

Even though we probably won't get the Frequent Fear next year (we'll be in Canada for a bit) we will definitely be making a few visits.

For those of you who have been following along with us for awhile, you'll be happy to know that we FINALLY parked in Curious George. In all our visits to USH, I had never parked in this structure. Which is bizarre and weird right? Lol.

Our first non Fright Fest update since August!

Alright, let's get on with the construction stuff!

It appears the footers are all dug. No digging equipment is left on site.

Which means we're now going to be moving into the next phase of construction, and that will be installing the supports.

However we're not sure when that will be, no crane is on site that we can tell.

Some larger square and rectangle footers to go along with all of the round footers.

Lots of vegetation staying to mimic the island of Mia Thermopolis, err, Themyscira.

Over on the DC universe side, some more very large supports

I still really wish they were connecting these two areas. As you can see, all of the large digging equipment from our last update is now gone.

And finally, we do know the round-up is staying, it's going to get yet another new name. Our speculation is Supergirl. What do you think the ride should be rethemed to?

No surprise, the lighting for this event is amazing.

We had never been to Heritage Square before, but we'll be back to see it non-Halloween'y!

Each house has a different "family" living there, from Witches, to Vampires, Ghosts and all sorts of awesome (but very friendly) neighbors.

The actors for this are really what brought the event together. They were simply fantastic.

One last walk through Terror Rising (still don't think they need the Dark Developments tagline)

It definitely is creepy and gives some amazing views of Viper, which was running, well, like Viper.

I don't remember seeing this last time. Hmm.

We of course had to say hi to our friends in Nightmares

There are so many new and amazing characters in this area. You can tell they really all love working with each other. Look for this scare zone to be absolutely insane in 2022.

The more I think about it, the more I hope the neon Zombie theme extends to the Aftermath maze in 2022.

Our first "official" Wonder Woman construction pic!

This was our first time walking through Witches Lair, it had been too busy all the other times we've visited. We really enjoyed it!

That said, would REALLY like to see City Under Seige expand to this area, and the Witches take over the area between Full Throttle and Goliath. They've earned it!

Of course, our main must-see of the night was Sliders of the Night. It's an amazing slider show. But first, some fun with the amazing talent back here.
