SAN JOSE, CA – This fall, Thirteenth Floor Entertainment Group, in partnership with Winchester Mystery House, invites guests back to Festival Fright Nights at Winchester Mystery House, for a reimagined Halloween festival experience unfolding throughout the historic San Jose estate. Running select nights from September 18 through November 1, the 2026 season introduces three terrifying attractions, new interactive experiences, games, and returning favorites that draw guests deeper into the mysteries surrounding the mansion. New this season, The House of Spirits follows Sarah Winchester’s loyal butler following her death as he desperately attempts to care for the sprawling estate as strange activity spreads through the halls.. Armed with ghost traps and unwavering determination, he struggles to contain the spirits as whispers, shadows and unsettling encounters suggest the house is slipping far beyond his control.

The estate’s story grows darker in The Final Descent: No Escape, where the staff who once cared for the mansion have been consumed by the darkness beneath the grounds. What remains now stalks the halls as guests fight to escape a house fully surrendered to evil. In The Root of All Evil, something ancient stirs beneath the estate. Inside the greenhouse, twisted roots, corrupted growth and strange creatures reveal an evil lurking in the soil that has been feeding on the property since long before Sarah Winchester arrived.

The 2026 Knott’s Scary Farm lineup includes a total of 10 mazes, five sinister scare zones, two new shows plus fan-favorite, The Hanging, during its run Sept. 17-Oct. 31. Guests can expect to experience their worst nightmare as the most horrendous monsters await around every corner ready to find their next victim. 

Inked (maze) - Mortimer Morbid, a washed-up 1930s cartoonist and former head of Morbid Studios, discovering that when blood becomes ink, imagination becomes reality. Determined to create one final Halloween special, he brings his infamous cartoon characters to life—only to unleash a legion of murderous toons hellbent on pulling viewers into their twisted world. 
 
Unearthed (maze) - Embark on a perilous journey through the heart of an excavation site as you and your search and rescue team arrive at a ravaged base of the summit days after receiving a distress signal. Beware, for the discovery of the ancient tablets has awakened a malevolent force from a forgotten age—an ancient evil has been unearthed. 
 
Voodoo: Bayou's Edge (show) - Calico Mine Stage - The dead keep rhythm. A slow drumbeat calls — and Marie Laveau, Voodoo Queen, guides you past the gate into the court of Baron Samedi, Lwa of the dead. Dancers drift through the mist, flames rise, tombs drum and the cemetery wakes. 
 
Occultum Curated by Magic Castle (show) - Bird Cage Theatre - Step inside the beautifully restored Bird Cage Theatre and experience an evening of wonder. Featuring magicians from the world-famous Magic Castle, these acclaimed wizards will leave you amazed with surprise, delight and mystery. 

Mary – The Haunting of Worth Home – After the tragic death of her family, Mary was violently murdered and buried alive by jealous townsfolk who were envious of her perfect family and home. Through immense pain and grief of her loss, Mary returns from the grave searching aimlessly for her family as she and her legion of nightmarish creatures will do anything to exact revenge on anyone that steps inside her once beautiful home. 
 
The Zoo – Something has taken over the abandoned zoo. What was once a lively showcase of exotic animals has been transformed into a terrifying laboratory of animal/human experiments. Hybrid creatures have turned on their creators and the compound is crawling with mutant soldiers thirsty for revenge. Eight Fingers Nine: The Boogeyman – Become immersed in a living fairy tale in an 18th century colonial township that's under siege by an inhuman monster who has a sick penchant for eating fingers. As night descends, Eight Fingers Nine emerges from the shadows in search of fresh meat. His vicious bite penetrates deep, causing sleep paralysis which holds his victim in sway while he slowly consumes their flesh. Step lightly and beware of the dark, or you may be the main course at his next meal! 
 
Widows - The night of the arachnid is upon us! Enter a web-covered nursing home where demonic, eight-legged black widows emerge from their silken tunnels to possess the withered bodies of the elderly residence. Their sole purpose is to secure a mate and hatch a clutch of eggs before sunrise. Will you climb into their web and succumb to their dark desires? 
 
Room 13 – Violent murders at The Blind Tiger interrupt the Prohibition-era revelry on Memory Lane. Once again, the lake underneath Silver Bullet reveals the horrors and creatures it’s kept hidden, until now. KNOTT’S SCARY FARM EVENT DETAILS 
Knott's Scary Farm has welcomed millions of visitors for more than five decades of never-ending nightmares and has become an institution in the Southern California theme park landscape. This year, the event returns on Sept. 17 and runs Thursdays-Sundays through Oct. 31, excluding Sept. 20. Due to the explicit and frightening nature of the event, it is not recommended for children under 13.  
 
A chaperone policy will remain in effect for all Knott's Scary Farm event nights. Under this policy, all guests ages 15 years old or younger must be accompanied by a chaperone who is at least 21 years old to be admitted into the park. The chaperone must present a valid government-issued photo identification with date of birth at ticket entry. One chaperone may accompany no more than ten guests ages 15 or younger per day. In addition, the chaperone must accompany their party during entry, remain inside the park during their visit and be available by phone throughout their stay. Guests 16 years of age or older may be asked to present a valid government-issued photo identification (driver’s license, state-issued ID  
card, passport) with date of birth at entry to verify their age. If unable to verify proof of age, guests may be denied entry into the park. Guests ages 15 years old or younger who are found inside the park unaccompanied by a chaperone will be subject to ejection. 
 
In addition, a bag policy will remain in effect for this year’s Knott’s Scary Farm. Clear plastic bags smaller than 12” x 12” x 6” as well as non-clear wristlets or clutches no larger than 5”x 8”x 2” are allowed at Knott's Scary Farm. All bags are subject to search prior to entry.

New this year, Fallen Angel transports guests to the condemned Halo Theatre on the Sunset Strip where the heavy metal band Fallen Angel died after a pyro mishap while rehearsing the biggest show of their lives, a Halloween night spectacle they never got to play. Forty-one years later, their most devoted fans have broken into the venue to enact a ritual to make sure the show goes on. It worked, but now the fans believe YOU are the band.
 
The iconic Haunted Hayride returns with more choreography by renowned celebrity choreographer Bobby Newberry, new scenes, original musical scores and immersive soundscaping. Sway poles are also making a return for the first time since 2014. The fright continues in Elvira’s Trick or Treat Mayhem, a candy-coated realm filled with bizarre surprises, ghoulish goodies and the Mistress of the Dark’s signature glamour and mischief. Beyond the Hayride and mazes, guests can explore Midnight Falls, shop for seasonal merchandise, and enjoy Halloween-themed food and beverages, including plant-based offerings from Mr. Charlie’s. For the first time, Los Angeles Haunted Hayride will serve alcohol onsite, with new themed bars offering guests ages 21 and over another way to experience the atmosphere of Midnight Falls. The Cider Mill Experience also returns with warm apple cider and fresh apple cider donuts, while s’mores stations provide a fireside break amid the roaming townsfolk and nightly scares.
 
This year’s Los Angeles Haunted Hayride will also feature the following add-on experiences:
 

• Madame Aurora Seance Theater – New! Drawn to the thin veil between the living and the dead, world-famous medium Madame Aurora conjures spirits before guests’ eyes. The new storyline reveals how Midnight Falls became trapped on Halloween night in 1985, but not every spirit she summons is benign.
• Scary-Go-Round – Take a spin on Midnight Falls’ eerie carousel, where a familiar carnival favorite carries a sinister Halloween twist.
• Midnight Falls Axe Throwing – Learn to defend against the town’s less-than-friendly ghouls as the Axeperts of Midnight Falls coach guests through five attempts to hit the bullseye.
• Mini Escape Games – Race against the clock to solve cryptic riddles and hidden clues in a five-minute challenge before time runs out.
• S’mores Package – Gather around the firelight in Town Square and roast a classic Halloween treat beneath the watchful gaze of Midnight Falls’ roaming residents.
• Zombie Splat GellyBall Experience – Armed with glowing GellyBalls and protective eyewear, guests face actor-driven zombies in a fast-paced, five-minute battle.

(August 17, 2026) – This fall, Six Flags Over Georgia transforms into a world of haunted mazes, roaming monsters and pulse-pounding scares as Fright Fest returns, select nights, Sept. 12 through Nov. 1. The park today announced an expansive event lineup of 13 haunted experiences, including two new premium haunted mazes, two new immersive scare zones, a new live show and the return of fan-favorite experiences inspired by Warner Bros. The Conjuring Universe and Lionsgate and Twisted Pictures’ SAW.

New Haunted Attractions Coming to Fright Fest 2026

Five new experiences debuting this season include:

• Finklestein's House of Fun presented by SKITTLES®: Freddy Finklestein invites guests into a twisted nightmare where warped mirrors, sinister clowns and grotesque surprises lurk around every corner in a decaying carnival fun house.
• Infestation presented by SNICKERS®: Guests enter a condemned home overtaken by swarms of spiders, roaches and mutant vermin. Inside, the bugs are no longer dying. They're evolving.
• Dreadwell Brothers Carnival of Curiosities: A once-celebrated carnival has fallen into ruin, now inhabited by deranged carnies, eerie sideshow performers and unsettling mysteries that emerge after dark.
• Nevermore: This fog-shrouded realm is inhabited by towering raven-like creatures that stalk guests through hanging cages, bone-filled nests and the remnants of their latest prey.
• The Mare: The Nightmare and his zombie minions break-dance the night away.

Blockbuster Horror Franchises Return to Six Flags Over Georgia

• The Conjuring Universe: Based on New Line Cinema's iconic horror franchise, guests will enter the Warrens' occult museum where cursed artifacts awaken ancient evil. They’ll face Annabelle’s malevolent stare, flee the Nun’s unholy presence and survive the Perron farmhouse's demonic forces.
• SAW: Legacy of Terror: Guests will face the ultimate trial of survival in SAW: LEGACY OF TERROR as they plunge into the depths of Jigsaw’s twisted mind and traverse iconic scenes inspired by the SAW® films. They’ll try to escape some of John Kramer’s most diabolical contraptions before time runs out.

Additional Fright Fest experiences include returning guest-favorite scare zones, premium mazes and shows; Camp Slasher presented by M&M’S®, Disciples of the Beast, Rockville Festival of Fright, The Rotted Ones, Dr. Fright’s Deadman’s Party and The Awakening.

Family Friendly Halloween Fun at Six Flags Over Georgia
During the day, families can experience Tricks & Treats, the park’s family-friendly Halloween event, taking place Saturdays and Sundays from Sept. 12 through Nov. 1. Included with park admission, Tricks & Treats features costume contests, character meet-and-greets, trick-or-treating and activities designed for children and families. The daytime event offers a kid-friendly alternative before Fright Fest begins each evening.
