Cassandra Peterson Joins LA’s Halloween Tradition with “Elvira’s Trick or Treat Mayhem”
    Picture
LOS ANGELES, AUGUST 26, 2025 – This fall, Thirteenth Floor Entertainment Group returns to Griffith Park at the iconic Los Angeles Haunted Hayride for its 17th season, bringing with it an electrifying new partnership with the Mistress of the Dark herself, Elvira (Cassandra Peterson). Running from September 19 through November 2, tickets start at $38.99 on select nights and with pre-sale live now. Secure your ticket to the Hayride now at losangeleshauntedhayride.com.

For the first time ever, Elvira has taken up residence in Midnight Falls, transforming the fan-favorite Trick or Treat maze into “Elvira’s Trick or Treat Mayhem”. Guests will also discover Elvira-themed photo ops, exclusive merchandise across all Thirteenth Floor locations nationwide(including limited-edition pins, t-shirts, VHS mystery boxes, advent calendars, and more), and even the sound of her unmistakable voice echoing throughout the event as she takes over Midnight Falls’ radio station.

The iconic Haunted Hayride will also be blending nostalgic scenes from the original Hayride with all-new soundscapes and eerie encounters, delivering a chilling balance of scares and classic Halloween spirit. New this year, Elvira takes center stage in Elvira’s Trick or Treat Mayhem, a candy-coated labyrinth of chaos brimming with her signature wit, glamour, and wicked mischief, where a bizarre surprise awaits at every turn. The fright continues deep in the backwoods with Hellbilly Halloween, where a cannibalistic family celebrates the season with gruesome tricks and horrifying treats. Guests are invited back to Monáe Manor, for another hauntingly stylish house party hosted by icon, Janelle Monáe.

“We are thrilled to announce LA Haunted Hayride’s collaboration with Elvira this year! We are all ready for her to ‘move in’ and enhance the retro Halloween horror experience throughout LA Haunted Hayride,” said Jen Bendik, General Manager. “We’re excited to bring nostalgic Halloween back to guests with iconic scenes returning to the Hayride and much more. This is a year guests won’t want to miss!”

In addition to the Hayride and mazes, guests can immerse themselves in the cursed community of Midnight Falls, browse the general store for exclusive merchandise, and indulge in Halloween-themed food, mocktails, activities, and attractions. New this year, the Cider Mill Experience lures visitors into a cozy lounge bathed in autumn glow, where warm apple cider and fresh apple cider donuts offer a fleeting comfort amidst the shadows.

This year’s Los Angeles Haunted Hayride will feature the following 2024 add-ons:
    • Elvira Pop Up Retail shop – New! Guests can explore the delightfully dark Elvira Pop-Up Retail Shop, showcasing a curated collection of merchandise inspired by the Mistress of the Dark. From witty tees to limited-edition accessories and official collectibles, the spooky storefront offers something for every fan and is open during attraction hours.
    • Scary-Go-Round (Elvira Edition) – Reimagined for 2025! The iconic ride has been reskinned in honor of Elvira’s beloved pup, Gonk.
    • The Monte Revolta Show – Get ready for the ultimate Theatrical Macabre Experience from beyond the grave. It’s Monte Revolta… the undead irreverent lounge singer who is bringing the dead back to Rock. Join Monte, Rotly & Ms. Muerte as they exhume an ultra shocking musical, comedy revue.
    • Mini Escape Games – Step into a chamber where time itself becomes the enemy. In just five fleeting minutes, groups must unravel cryptic riddles and hidden clues before the clock tolls its final second. Failure means being forever trapped in the puzzle’s sinister embrace.
    • Madame Aurora’s Seance Show– Within the velvet shadows of her tent, world-famous medium Madame Aurora dares to pierce the veil once again. For ten harrowing minutes, she beckons spirits to cross into our realm, their whispers curling through the dark. Beware: not all who answer her call come bearing peace. This immersive theatrical ritual is not for the faint of heart.
    • Midnight Falls Axe Throwing – With the curse of the witch plaguing the city of Midnight Falls, learn to protect yourself from the less-than-friendly ghouls. The Axeperts at Midnight Falls will train you up and you can try your hand at hitting the bullseye 5 times.
    • Zombie Splat – The dead refuse to rest in Midnight Falls, and only your aim can hold them back. Armed with a hopper of 700 glowing GellyBalls, guests are thrust into a live-action apocalypse, firing upon relentless actor-driven zombies. Safe yet thrilling, this five-minute battle comes complete with protective eyewear, though nothing will shield you from the terror in their eyes.
    • S’mores Stations – At the heart of Midnight Falls lies the Town Square, flickering with the glow of firelight. Here, guests may pause to roast their own s’mores beneath the watchful gaze of roaming townsfolk.

    Picture
Universal City, CA, August 21, 2025 – The countdown to Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood begins now with the destination’s final slate of announcements, including a menu of terrifying treats curated by Executive Chef Julia Thrash, the eagerly-awaited introduction of Halloween Horror Nights Dining Pass and the reveal of the anime horror short film, “Chainsaw Man: The Chaos,” based on the hit Japanese manga and anime series.

Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood launches on Thursday, September 4 and runs select nights through Sunday, November 2, 2025. Tickets are available for purchase here.

“Chainsaw Man: The Chaos” makes its Hollywood debut exclusively at Universal Studios Hollywood’s Halloween Horror Nights within the DreamWorks Theatre. This all-original horror anime short film arrives directly from Universal Studios Japan based on the popular Japanese manga and anime series streaming now on Crunchyroll. The film will play in-language and recounts the tale of Denji and the Devil Hunters as they battle the Halloween Horror Nights Devil and his army of zombies. Denji, resurrected into Chainsaw Man, a devil-human hybrid with protruding chainsaws from his body, ultimately takes control in a quest to combat the Devils. It’s an extreme showdown that dares guests to survive a chaos of screams and blood.

The specially curated food and beverage items available at Halloween Horror Nights rank among the most indulgent offerings at the event, and for good reason. Executive Chef Julia Thrash and her culinary team bring the same level of details to these treats as Universal’s entertainment team brings to the haunted houses.

This year’s added bonus includes the arrival of a Halloween Horror Nights Dining Pass, inviting guests to feast on select food and beverage options for a single price. The Dining Pass is available for purchase here and at participating theme park restaurants. Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay Returns with All-New Screams

Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay Returns with All-New Screams and Tickets as Low as $34.99 for a Limited Time

More than 25 terrifying experiences including 2 NEW haunted houses, 3 NEW sinister scare zones, ghoulish shows and unrelenting park-wide horrors at Tampa Bay’s most frightening adult Halloween event
TAMPA, Fla. (Aug. 19, 2025) – The time is near for Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay! Taking place on select nights from Sept. 5 through Nov. 2, this year's event is set to resurrect your nightmares and unleash extreme screams at this parkwide experience. To mark this milestone, Howl-O-Scream will feature five haunted houses, including the NEW M.A.R.S house and the NEW upgraded Ravens Mill – Lambs to the Slaughter, three NEW scare zones, two NEW hordes and terrifying entertainment offerings designed to make guests jump out of their seats.

    Haunted Houses and Scare Zones
    • NEW! M.A.R.S.: Once the crown jewel of the space fleet, the Elysium was built to explore the outer limits of our solar system and search for signs of life. But on a routine mission to Mars, disaster struck. The ship crashed violently onto the planet’s surface—damaged beyond repair. Most of the crew perished on impact. The few who survived now face freezing temperatures, failing life support, and something far worse.
      • Drawn by the crash, a swarm of aggressive, insect-like alien creatures surrounded the wreckage within minutes. The remaining crew fought back, but the enemy was too strong. Now, a new mission has begun: a search-and-destroy team has been deployed to ensure nothing—human or alien—makes it off the Elysium.
      • Your objective: enter the ship, reach the core, and destroy it before the threat spreads… or before you become part of the crew of the damned.
    • NEW EERIE ENHANCEMENTS!  Ravens Mill – Lambs to Slaughter: Once the heart of a thriving farming community, Raven’s Mill has roared back to life—but not for grain. After the land went barren and townspeople vanished, scarecrows began to appear—stitched from the remains of the missing. Now, the mill grinds through flesh and bone, operated by silent workers who rebuild bodies into something unrecognizable.
      • Outside, the harvest spreads. Cages fill the fields. Eyes watch from stitched faces. Every visitor becomes part of the ritual—each step drawing them deeper into the nightmare. Raven’s Mill no longer grows crops. It grows something far more disturbing.
    • NEW! The Pestilence: While the world moved on from the plague, one town never recovered. The Mob Doctors remained—gas-masked figures in black coats who decide who lives and who disappears. Each night, they move through the streets without warning, dragging victims to the Ashen Furnace at the town’s edge—some still breathing as they’re consumed by the flames. No one knows why they’re chosen. No one escapes. Just a whisper before the needle: “It’s only a precaution.”
    • NEW! Breadcrumbs to Nowhere: Deep in Havenwood Forest, a rotting cottage lures the lost with the scent of sugar and the lies of a forgotten fairy tale. Hansel and Gretel never escaped—and now, they lead others to the Crone’s festering lair, where the woods twist, the walls decay, and no one ever leaves.
    • NEW! Murders at Buckshot Ridge: They built a logging camp deep in the woods, but the forest pushed back. Now, the cabins rot, the axes drip red, and the men who once worked here have become something else entirely. The trees shift, the paths deceive—and the forest keeps what it takes.
    • Returning Scare! Ragnar’s Wrath: The icy winds of Niflheim howl as you approach a charred Viking longhouse, its stench of death is a prelude to the horrors within.
    • Sickening Sequel! Shadows of Wonderland: Step back into Wonderland, but not as you remember it. This warped dreamscape has come from years of torment under the Queen of Hearts' reign of terror. Once playful characters have become bitter shadows, their anger fueled by Alice's abandonment. Now, you must confront this distorted reality and face a vengeful Queen who wants both Alice (and you) gone.

    Sinister Shows and Entertainment
    • Familiar Fear! The Reckoning: In an innate battle of good and evil, seemingly innocent Lark awaits her ultimate judgement day when she meets the Gatekeeper in the fiery depths of Hell.

Knott's Scary Farm is far more than a collection of haunted attractions. Every night monsters take over the streets and turn theme-park midways into murderous scare zones. From the world-famous Ghost Town Streets to the Boardwalk area filled with evil clowns, there's nowhere to hide in Knott's Scary Farm.

Ghost Town Streets is where Scary Farm began! The dark streets of Calico are the original and largest, most fear-filled scare zone that started it all. Terror lurks around every corner as the fog-filled alleys hold monsters of every size. Good luck finding a safe passage through the cursed town.

Return to the dark decadence of a bygone era as The Gore-ing ‘20s scare zone terrorizes even the bravest and most brutal souls. The revelers at The Blind Tiger, the secret speakeasy on Memory Lane, danced their way into oblivion when their decadence brought upon them a deadly curse.

Step right up and come face to face with your worst nightmares on the Boardwalk. Deviant clowns and circus freaks are dying for your undying attention in the CARNEVIL scare zone. Smell the cotton candy as the maniacal midway monsters close in on you.

The Lake underneath Silver Bullet recedes to reveal the Forsaken Lake scare zone, where gothic creatures ravaged by the dark and murky waters wander from their crypts. Each night brings new terrors as a funeral procession makes its way to the spirit world.

In The Gauntlet, characters return to invade Camp Snoopy, but with an updated twist. Guests will again encounter the King and Queen of the realm, maniacal jesters, brutal barbarians, wicked wizards and lawless peasants. They’ve all returned with an onslaught of fresh terror.
