The flight takes to the skies today from Detroit (DTW) to Fort Lauderdale (FLL), and the specially-themed aircraft will continue flying to destinations through May 2024.

                The plane featuring the special-edition livery belongs to one of the most fuel-efficient fleets in the industry. Travelers can experience Spirit’s affordable nonstop flights from 20 U.S. cities to Los Angeles (LAX) enroute to Universal Studios Hollywood and SUPER NINTENDO WORLD. Flight bookings on the specially-themed aircraft are based on the plane’s flying schedule.

    Knott’s Berry Farm Kicks Off Annual Boysenberry Festival on March 8 and the Debut of the New Knott’s Hotel

    BUENA PARK, CA. – Guests are in for a double dose of Knott’s hospitality with the return of the highly-anticipated Knott’s Boysenberry Festival and the grand unveiling of the new Knott’s Hotel. The annual festival inspired by the little berry that started it all opens March 8, and just steps away, the Knott’s Hotel debuts its multimillion-dollar transformation, a new distinctive farmhouse-style overnight experience inspired by park founders Walter and Cordelia Knott. Guests will have the opportunity to indulge in more than 75 recipes at this year’s festival, ranging from savory to sweet; each food and drink item has a unique boysenberry twist that can only be found during this season. The boysenberry on top includes a full lineup of shows, live music and a wide selection of local crafters and artisans for guests of all ages to enjoy. Knott’s Boysenberry Festival operates daily through April 7 and Friday through Sunday April 12 – 28.

    This year's event will feature a blend of entirely new menu offerings and the return of fan favorites. Discover some truly inventive and original savory creations, including this year's chicken tikka marsala with boysenberry curry sauce and pork loin slices over mashed potatoes with a creamy boysenberry mustard sauce. Indulge your sweet tooth cravings with berry-infused dessert items throughout the festival, including the new boysenberry and chocolate stuffed cookie, lemon bar with a boysenberry compote and boysenberry brownie parfait. A great way to enjoy it all is by purchasing a tasting card priced at $55. The tasting card offers six tastings from a number of boysenberry-inspired dishes and drinks.     Boundless Boysenberry Entertainment 
    Knott's Boysenberry Festival also comes with endless entertainment throughout the park. From musical performances to fun interactive games, there is something for everyone to enjoy. Guests are invited to celebrate the heritage of California's original theme park with the show Knott's Preserved. Through song, dance and storytelling, the audience takes a musical journey from the little ghost town of Calico to the Seaside Boardwalk of the Roaring '20s to commemorate the heritage of the park. All aboard for a boysenberry bon voyage at the legendary Bird Cage Theatre with a special presentation of the comedy melodrama Riverboat Revenge. Guests are challenged to try their berry best in Boysenberry Fun and Games in Calico Park or head over to Calico Mine Stage for the wildly entertaining Boysenberry Pie Eating Contest. Young ones and the young at heart are invited to cozy up to the cutest critters on the farm, including horses, goats and other furry friends at Old MacDonald's Barn, a tribute to one of the farm's original attractions.     Back by popular demand, the Scream Break after-hours event offers eight nights of screams with a Spring Break twist from 9:00pm to midnight, including a haunted happy hour starting at 7:30pm, on Friday and Saturday from March 22 through April 13. The lineup of monstertainment includes:

    Knott’s Berry Farm to Hire 2,000 Seasonal Associates for 2024 Season

    BUENA PARK, CA. – Knott’s Berry Farm, California’s original theme park, plans to hire 2,000 associates throughout the remainder of 2024. The park’s hiring event is part of a plan by parent company Cedar Fair Entertainment to hire approximately 35,000 seasonal associates across its network of parks in 2024. Cedar Fair anticipates filling the majority of those roles during hiring events to be held across all parks in the U.S. and Canada from Feb. 17-24.

    Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Opens This Summer at Walt Disney World

    LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. (Feb. 13, 2024) – During Mardi Gras in New Orleans – home to Princess Tiana and her big dreams – they say “laissez les bons temps rouler!” And the good times will roll this summer when Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opens in Magic Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. Oui, cher!

    With Princess Tiana at the helm, this new attraction “digs a little deeper” into her story after the events of the Walt Disney Animation Studios film “The Princess and the Frog.” It is Mardi Gras season at Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, and the bayou will light up for a journey full of music, Mama Odie’s magic, and a whole boatful – log-ful? – of new friends, in preparation for a celebration where everyone’s welcome.

    They got music, it’s always playin’

    Music is at the heart of New Orleans, and guests will be tapping their toes all throughout the attraction thanks in part to adorable critters, who sing and play instruments made of natural materials found in the bayou. Tiana’s new friends include an otter, a rabbit, a racoon, a beaver, a turtle and more. Their spirited stylings will turn the bayou into a party with zydeco and other types of music authentic to the region of New Orleans. There will be new, original music alongside favorite tunes from the film, created in collaboration with award-winning artists PJ Morton and Terence Blanchard.

    In addition to musical critters, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure welcomes talent voices from the film as they reprise their roles, including Bruno Campos as Prince Naveen, Jenifer Lewis as Mama Odie, Michael Leon Wooley as Louis and the one and only Anika Noni Rose as Princess Tiana.

    Grab somebody, come on down

    As guests float through the cypress trees and Spanish moss of a beautiful Louisiana bayou, they may see some familiar faces as part of the dozens of entirely new Audio-Animatronics figures. Along with Princess Tiana, Louis and Mama Odie, keep an eye out for Eudora, Charlotte, Prince Ralphie, Prince Naveen, and others.

    As “The Princess and the Frog” makes its home in the Big Easy, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is more stuffed with authentic NOLA artistry than Charlotte is with Tiana’s “man-catching” beignets! Artwork from Louisiana artist Malaika Favorite will delight guests as part of the queue, and guests can see an original metalwork weathervane from third-generation master blacksmith, Darryl Reeves and his apprentice, Karina Roca. New Orleans artist Sharika Mahdi’s artwork has inspired the attraction from the beginning. And, for some lagniappe (a “little extra”) guests will have a nose full of the sweet scent of beignets frying – reminiscent of strolling through the French Quarter – as part of the attraction queue.

    The heart of Tiana’s story reminds guests that everyone has the potential to make their dreams a reality. With teams of Imagineers, Disney Animation artists, Cast Members and Louisiana artisans working together, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is sure to pass a good time when it opens at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida in summer 2024 and later in 2024 at Disneyland Park in California!
