At long last DisneyQuest at Walt Disney World is no more. And despite a few people who staged a sit-in the day after it's closure (seriously?) it doesn't seem that it will be missed.
Still, Renée and a whole bunch of other people decided to make one last visit last weekend. Enjoy

One final visit to DisneyQuest. Because why not?

Hose of Blues has happy hour going on. Nothing wrong with a Margarita beforehand!

Oh boy, here we go.

Posters for attractions in the elevator instead of the long gone video of the Genie that used to welcome guests.

Ventureport, the entrance to all the "zones" in DisneyQuest

There are Explore, Create, Score and Replay zones

Create zone is actually interesting, with interactive activities such as Animation Academy

The Create Zone is home to the once popular Cyberspace Mountain, where you can design and ride your own coaster.

We attempted to ride Mighty Ducks Pinball Slam ... but got e-stopped (kind of like the actual Ducks in the playoffs)

DisneyQuest was REALLY crowded. Guess everybody is visiting one last time too.

The Comix attraction structure still remains but the ride has been gone for quite some time.

All attractions, including Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blaster had a pretty good line. So we passed on those.

Sooo, we decided happy hour at House of Blues was a better option than handling the crowds. Thanks for the memories DisneyQuest!!!

I loved DQ when it opened in Chicago. I could get a taste of Disney without the travel. That being said, it aged very poorly, and within a year, many of the attractions were broken or under staffed.

Surprised it lasted as long as it did.
