In addition to the standard Starbucks pastries and sandwiches, Disney's Animal Kingdom also has their unique cupcakes With temperatures already in the 90s, an iced coffee is perfect. With a cardboard straw, of course! Also new at Disney's Animal Kingdom this week is Zuri's Sweets Shop, located in the Harambe Market. @DisneyParks Zuri's Sweets Shop sells unique African themed treats like popcorn, in flavors like curry and African spice. Other interesting items for sale include Flame Tree BBQ sauce, spices and seasonings, and Tusker House coffee. Zuri's Sweet Shop is a small new addition to Africa at Disney's Animal Kingdom with a lot to offer! Another cool new-ish thing at Disney's Animal Kingdom is Winged Encounters, a brief show by the Tree of Life. At Winged Encounters, cast members are working on training behaviors with parrots, where they fly to their home. Lots of construction activity going on behind the walls for the Rivers of Light show at Disney's Animal Kingdom. Tarzan is back meeting guests at the Discovery Island Trail at Disney's Animal Kingdom. It's still great that DiVine is out meeting guests at Disney's Animal Kingdom. Such a unique hidden gem at the park. Thanks again to Renée for bearing the heat to bring us the latest from Disney's Animal Kingdom. I know a lot of people were against Starbucks in the park, but each one that has been added has been tremendously unique and fitting to the park it's in. And the cardboard straws at DAK are awesome. Wish more parks and Zoo's would do that.
