California’s Great America invites guests to the all-new 
PEANUTS Celebration, taking over the park April 1st - 30th

SANTA CLARA, CA – The brand-new PEANUTS Celebration welcomes beloved fans of all ages to join the PEANUTS gang for memorable, family-friendly fun starting April 1 through April 30. Join Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Peppermint Patty, and your favorite characters as they take over the park, bringing joy and laughter for the young and the young at heart. An enticing menu of PEANUTS-inspired cuisine with exciting flavor combinations are sure to make happy bellies. Incredible photo ops have guests stepping into the iconic Charles M. Schulz comic strips, experiencing California’s Great America like never before!

Guests will not want to miss Happiness Is…, taking place at Celebration Plaza. The PEANUTS characters star in the musical surprise that teaches a lesson of self-discovery, the true bond of friendship, and the differences that make everyone special. Then, make way to Great America Theater where the PEANUTS gang jams out with the family-friendly indie band, The Jelly of the Month Club, for Snoopy’s Legendary Rooftop Concert. The fun continues at Planet Snoopy. Sally and Schroeder will host a collection of melodies in Music Goes ‘Round and Around, where they’ll have the audience dancing in the aisles. The perfect masterpiece can be drawn at PEANUTS Sketch School, also located in Planet Snoopy. Our resident art teacher offers step-by-step instructions to draw your favorite PEANUTS characters. The celebration keeps going at the Theater Royale for Spike’s Silent Disco. Snoopy’s brother, Spike, will be hosting a party bound to be the most fun guests can experience, dancing to upbeat tunes while wearing a set of headphones. Guests will get a chance to sing along with the characters as they ride in a cavalcade of cars for PEANUTS On the Go located at the 50s Gazebo. Afterwards, guests can get an opportunity to meet and take photos with their favorite characters. 

With adventurous flavors and presentation, the food menu for PEANUTS Celebration is an experience in itself. American Café will offer four specialty hot dogs, including a taste testers’ favorite, “The Andy Dog.” This bacon-wrapped hot dog with caramelized onions, jalapeños, cotija cheese and chipotle aioli is served on a warm brioche bun. The Snack Shack will be the spot to try the Pulled Pork Mac ‘n’ Cheese, the Fried Pickle Chips with Honey Mustard, or both. Sweet Treats offers desserts such as the new “Tooty Fruity Funnel Cake” that’s as delicious as it is beautiful. Or satisfy your craving with a twist on the classic PB&J by trying it deep fried in a funnel cake batter, topped with a generous amount of powdered sugar and yummy chocolate drizzle.

The five-week PEANUTS Celebration will have its opening weekend Saturday, April 1 and Sunday, April 2, and include special Thursday and Friday operational days throughout the month until April 30. The park will be open from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday in April, and 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, operational days.
