California’s Great America to hire 1,000 seasonal associates before the 2023 summer season

Week-long hiring event February 18-24 to fill wide variety of roles 
Santa Clara, CA (February 6, 2023) - California’s Great America plans to hire 1,000 seasonal associates before the summer season. The park anticipates filling the majority of those roles during a week-long hiring blitz to be held Feb. 18-24 as part of the largest-ever recruiting campaign by the California’s Great America parent company, Cedar Fair Entertainment Company, across all its parks in the United States and Canada.

Hourly pay ranges from $17.00 - $26.00 (for those who are 16 years of age or older) based on experience, prior service and position. California’s Great America offers competitive wages and benefits, and many perks for its associates, including discounts, reward and recognition programs, exclusive events, free meals and free admission to any Cedar Fair Park. 
Interviews will occur between 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. on both Saturday events (2/18 and 2/25), Sunday (2/19), and Friday (2/24). On Monday (2/20), interviews will take place 9:45 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. and Wednesday (2/22) from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Interested candidates will have the ability to apply, interview and get hired the same day. It is an exciting year for California’s Great America as an expanded lineup of events, live shows, new attractions, thrilling rides, kid-sized fun and waterpark adventures await in 2023. The PEANUTS Gang comes out to play in a big way with a PEANUTS Celebration, a limited-time, special event where Charlie Brown, Snoopy and the gang take over the entire park. Park guests can also enjoy the recently expanded and upgraded All-American Corners area. It includes The Corner Notes musical song and dance show, expanded food options and two classic rides. Liberty Twirler is a brand-new spin on a classic midway ride that has been thrilling guests for decades. Long-time guests of Great America will instantly recognize Orbit, which spins back into action as part of the expanded area. And Great America is open for weekends all year long.
