First-of-its-kind haunted maze brings Blizzard Entertainment’s legendary

Diablo franchise to life as Halloween Haunt takes over the park

DOSWELL, Va. — Sept. 25, 2026 — Hell opens its gates tonight at Kings Dominion as DIABLO: The Infernal Path, an all-new haunted maze inspired by Blizzard Entertainment’s legendary Diablo® franchise, makes its highly anticipated debut during Halloween Haunt. One of only two experiences of its kind, the attraction plunges guests into the dark gothic world of Sanctuary for an up-close encounter with some of the franchise’s most infamous demons.

Created exclusively for Kings Dominion and Cedar Point, DIABLO: The Infernal Path transforms the world of Diablo into a terrifying physical experience filled with immersive environments, demonic creatures and intense close-quarters encounters.

"The attraction combines the franchise's legendary demons, dark mythology and intense atmosphere with the immersive scares our guests expect during Halloween Haunt."

Inside the maze, a catastrophic ritual fractures the barrier between worlds and unleashes ancient evil upon Sanctuary. Guests will come face-to-face with The Butcher, Duriel, Baal, Mephisto, Lilith and Diablo himself as they attempt to make their way through the Infernal Path.

The attraction arrives as Diablo approaches its 30th anniversary, nearly three decades after the franchise first invited players to descend into darkness and battle the forces of the Burning Hells.

Halloween takes over Kings Dominion this weekend

The debut of DIABLO: The Infernal Path gives guests another reason to make Kings Dominion a full day-to-night Halloween destination this weekend, with family-friendly Tricks and Treats during the day and Halloween Haunt taking over after dark.

During Halloween Haunt, guests can brave:

• Six haunted mazes, including the all-new DIABLO: The Infernal Path
• Five immersive scare zones
• Five live entertainment experiences
• Hundreds of monsters roaming throughout the park
• Nighttime rides on world-class attractions, including Grizzly, open after dark during Haunt for the first time and giving riders the chance to race through the woods at night,
• Specialty seasonal food and beverages

Before night falls, families can celebrate during Tricks and Treats, featuring trick-or-treating, costume contests, live entertainment, seasonal characters and family-friendly shows and Halloween activities.

DIABLO: The Infernal Path opens Friday, Sept. 25, and is included with the purchase of a Haunted Attractions Pass. Guests must also have valid park admission, a season pass or membership to enter the park and experience its haunted mazes.
