Holiday festivities return to the Merlin Entertainments' theme park with NEW interactive holiday experiences, festive fireworks, twinkling lights and a spectacular LEGO^® Christmas tree

CARLSBAD, CA (September 29, 2026) – LEGOLAND® California Resort is the ultimate holiday family destination for families with children ages 2 to 12 this holiday season as it transforms into a LEGO® winter wonderland filled with festive fireworks, interactive brick builds, dazzling light paths, holiday entertainment, and special seasonal characters. 

Christmas Bricktacular at LEGOLAND California – Select Dates from Nov. 21 – Jan. 3  

Guests can light up LEGOLAND with a NEW lineup of interactive experiences, including Holiday Lights and Frosty Footprints, where twinkling pathways and dazzling displays lead families on an interactive journey throughout the Park. Families can:  

• Feed the reindeer at Reindeer Refuel,a festive reindeer barn where families can interact with LEGO reindeer and build “Magic Carrots” from LEGO bricks to power their Christmas flight.
• Meet Yeti, the newest holiday character! Stop by for a festive meet and greet, snap a snow-tastic photo, and say hello to the coolest new character at LEGOLAND. Help Yeti beat the heat by building LEGO snowflakes to bring more snow and holiday cheer to his winter home.
• Help bring the holiday kitchen to life at the Gingerbread Station, where kids can follow interactive digital prompts to complete a festive recipe and activate lights, sounds and the delicious scent of gingerbread.
• Join the Elf Choir create sounds of the season interacting with a colorful LEGO® musical machine that can be discovered along the trail of twinkling lights.
• Get moving at the new Brickmas (W)rap Battle show, a high-energy holiday celebration where wrapping presents turns into a festive rap battle filled with music, dancing and playful interactive challenges inside the LEGOLAND Holiday Workshop on Fun Town Stage.
• Blast off into the holiday season with the all-new LEGO Galacticoaster Holiday Spaceship customizable elements, where festive LEGO fun takes your celebrations to out-of-this-world heights inside the new land, LEGO® Galaxy.

Returning this year, families can enjoy beloved holiday favorites and festive fun. Guests Can:  

• Experience the magic of Christmas Bricktacular Fireworks at LEGOLAND, where the night sky lights up with a dazzling holiday display. Guests can enjoy fireworks every Saturday in December, plus nightly from December 19-30, culminating with Kids’ New Year’s Eve on Dec. 31!
• Clap along with the Nutcracker Marching Band as the LEGO Nutcracker and LEGOLAND® Brass Band bring lively holiday music, festive energy and plenty of Christmas cheer to the Park.
• Meet iconic Holiday LEGO characters! Snap an “elfie” with Ivy & Frode, Gingerbread Guy, Snowman, Reindeer Girl, and of course LEGO Santa!
• Get into the holiday spirit with a festive selection of seasonal treats and holiday shopping at The LEGO Shop. 
• Create a Christmas card-worthy moment with the giant LEGO Christmas tree, built from more than 366,000 LEGO and DUPLO® bricks! Gather the family, strike a festive pose, and snap the perfect holiday photo in front of this larger-than-life tree.
• Pack your snow shoes and join Bagsy and Sweeps for Once Upon a Brickmas as they re-tell the story of the Wizard and the first snow of Castle Hill.

Kids’ New Year’s Eve – December 31 
Families can ring in 2027 a few hours early (aka: “Kid Standard Time”) at LEGOLAND California’s annual Kids’ New Year’s Eve celebration. The family-friendly party features live entertainment, special treats and a dazzling fireworks show, with the countdown to “midnight” taking place at 6:45 p.m. Special 3D viewing glasses transform the fireworks into exploding LEGO bricks for a one-of-a-kind way to welcome the new year. 

Holly Jolly Sleepover

For the ultimate Holiday sleepover, stay the night in one of our two LEGO® themed hotels.
