VALLEJO, Calif. — November 23, 2022 — Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, the Thrill Capital of Northern California, today announced the return of a reimagined version of -- Holiday in the Park. From stunning holiday displays, to themed entertainment, delicious seasonal food, and world-class rides, there is plenty of merriment to be had while enjoying this Northern California tradition. For the 15th edition of Holiday in the Park, the event has been reimagined with more decorations, activities and treats for guests to enjoy than ever before.  A new event offering added to Holiday in the Park this year is the Holiday Market, where guests can stroll past local vendors with handcrafted wares and delightful food set in a whimsical setting reminiscent of European Christmas markets.

“Visiting Holiday in the Park has been an annual tradition for families all across Northern California for years,” said Park General Manager Dameon Nelson. “For the 15th year of the event, our team is excited to present a more immersive holiday experience with newly themed areas, elevated sights and sounds, plus rides that, for the first time ever, are getting into the holiday spirit.”

Holiday in the Park will operate select days, November 25, 2022 through January 1, 2023. New and time-honored traditions included with park admission are:

To add to the merriment, guests can take home an assortment of Holiday in the Park gifts and souvenirs including novelty apparel, ornaments, soft plush toys, plus the best memory of all, a photo with Santa himself.
