Six Flags America Kicks Off Summer with All-New Harbor Fest

BOWIE, Md. — June 9, 2022 -- Six Flags America and Hurricane Harbor, D.C.’s Thrill Capital, is celebrating the start of summer with an all-new festival experience, Harbor Fest, Saturdays and Sundays June 11, 12, 17 and 18. Guests will enjoy an enhanced entertainment experience with authentic Polynesian dancers and beach bands, colorful and festive décor and a new, limited-time array of food offerings. “Now that summer is here, this is a perfect time to kick back, relax and have fun in the sun with family and friends,” said Park President Rick Howarth. “Hurricane Harbor continues to be one of our guest favorite attractions and the added entertainment and offerings during this festival will really bring the island vibes to the next level.”
 
Hurricane Harbor is now open and features 25 slides, an action river, three children’s water play areas and a massive 800,000 gallon Hurricane Bay wave pool. This season the park added all-new lush tropical landscaping, more deck chairs, benches and tables for added relaxation.

Harbor Fest Features:

• Live Dancing, Entertainment & Music: Each weekend the park will showcase live music with interactive Polynesian dancers on Saturdays and beach cover bands on Sundays. Throughout the day the park will host bubble dance parties between performances to keep the island vibes going all day;
• Colorful & Festive Décor: Flags, flamingos and so much more adorn Aruba Stage in Hurricane Harbor; and
• Bold, New Food Offerings: Just for Harbor Fest, a special limited-time food menu including jerk chicken sandwiches, jerk chicken tenders, angry or regular pineapple pizza, a variety of fresh-flavored lemonades and tropical fruit bowls will WOW guests each day.

New Annual Pass Program
For the first time, with the purchase of a Six Flags Annual Pass, guests now have the opportunity to visit Six Flags parks for 12 months after purchase, providing more flexibility and value to experience the thrill of Six Flags like never before. • Annual Ultimate Pass:
  • $350.00 or 12 payments of $29.24;
  • Includes access to all Six Flags Outdoor Parks including Six Flags Great Adventure and Hurricane Harbor New Jersey, plus preferred parking, two Junior Passes, a ten-meal dining plan, and special savings.
