VALLEJO, Calif. — Aug. 11, 2025 -- Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, America’s only wildlife, marine life and thrill ride park, is set to make legs quake and pulses pound as the park unveils all-new intense and immersive experiences for guests this year at Fright Fest Presented by SNICKERS®. The electrifying lineup of spine-chilling nighttime attractions features five haunted mazes, including one all-new haunted maze, five all-new scare zones and the supernatural transformations of park rides. Daytime activities for all ages include Tricks and Treats, featuring spooky, kooky Halloween activities and candy, plus Oktoberfest with an array of German fare and live entertainment. Oktoberfest begins Sept. 13 and both Tricks and Treats and Fright Fest join the festive fall fun on Sept. 20.

FRIGHT FEST: Fridays–Sundays, Sept. 20 – Nov. 2 | 6 p.m. – Close

The region’s premier Halloween event returns with five terrifying haunted mazes, five immersive scare zones, frightful food and drinks and more that overtakes the entire park after dark.

The year’s haunted mazes include:
  •  *NEW* CarnEvil: The Ringmaster’s Revenge presented by M&M'S® – Samuel Lasher's collapsed Jubilee Carnival rots beside a haunted fort. Now "CarnEvil," its decaying rides and tents hold twitching clown props and sadistic workers. The sinister ringmaster awaits one final, deadly performance for those who dare explore;
  •   Hotel Hellview 666 presented by SKITTLES® – Abandoned for occult practices, Hotel Hillview became Hotel Hellview 666. The Cartwright family's dark rituals tore a rift, unleashing a hungry evil that now consumes every inch and every guest of the once-forgotten lodging;
  •   Club Fear 3D presented by SNICKERS® – An underground club where your deepest fears emerge from the darkness. Party like it's the last night of your life, pushing you to your breaking point. Can you survive the ultimate, fear-fueled rave?
  •   Midnight Mansion – Mourning the death of his beloved wife, tortured professor Silas Grimmlee, decides to dabble in the dark arts to raise her back from the dead, but also calls forth a menagerie of macabre monstrosities from the beyond, which now lie in wait for unsuspecting visitors to Grimmlee Mansion; and
  •   Lost Souls – The mob of misfits that call themselves the Lost Souls have been camping in the woods to help hide the massive tanks of blood that keep them forever young and lethally beautiful.
This year’s scare zones include:
  • *NEW* Slasher Circus – Samuel Lasher's beloved circus closed due to financial ruin, leaving him and his performers abandoned. Now it’s an open-air nightmare filled with flesh-hungry zombie clowns and warped music;
  • *NEW* Deep Water Hollow – The Hillview Hotel Rift has awakened the dead in the nearby cemetery. Undead hands breach graves in an unending fog. This forgotten road now marks the eerie expansion of the Rift's terrifying influence;
  • *NEW* The Last Stop – Marlow's gas station near the Hollow is corrupted by demonic energy. Its staff are possessed, their eyes black and veins bulging. This is the ominous point of no return as guests approach the cursed Hillview Hotel;
  • *NEW* Pier of Fear – Captain Casterly's ship, The Ark, returned cursed, turning Alligator Isle's townsfolk into drowned creatures. Now, the Pier of Fear is a watery graveyard where tortured souls, including the demented Captain, seek to drag you into their eternal, cursed ranks; and
  • *NEW* Cornstalkers – Screams and chainsaws echo through towering stalks as sinister scarecrows and unseen horrors stalk your every move. This walk through the cornfields might be your last.

Tricks and Treats: Saturdays and Sundays, Sept. 20 – Nov. 2 | Open – 6 p.m.

A family-friendly Halloween experience, Tricks and Treats is a daytime event featuring Halloween activities, skeleTONS of delicious seasonal treats, drinks and of course, candy!

Tricks and Treats: Saturdays and Sundays, Sept. 13 – Nov. 2 | Open – 6 p.m.

Oktoberfest presented by Cash App brings a seasonal selection of craft beers, delicious German food and live entertainment with plenty of fun and merriment.
