Fright Fest, Kids Boo Fest, and Oktoberfest to Run at Six Flags Over Georgia Select Dates September 14 – November 3 MABLETON, Georgia — September 10, 2024 — Six Flags Over Georgia —the Thrill Capital of the South — kicks off three fall events starting this weekend; including, Fright Fest® Presented by SNICKERS®, Kids Boo Fest, and Oktoberfest Food Festival. This year, the park is celebrating 30 Chilling Years of Fright Fest with a terrifying roster of 15 haunted attractions, including premium haunted mazes inspired by legendary horror brands such as Lionsgate and Twisted Pictures’ SAW and Netflix’s Stranger Things. Kids Boo Fest at Six Flags Over Georgia offers family-friendly, day-time thrills for little monsters to enjoy. This year, the event is jam packed with festive fall fun like trick-or-treating, an inflatable corn maze, arts and crafts, dance parties, costume contests, and more. All Kids Boo Fest activities are included with park admission and will take place in the right half of the park from, Twisted Cyclone to Monster Mansion, separate from the scarier Fright Fest offerings. Oktoberfest gives guests the chance to savor a unique menu of seasonal brews and German inspired cuisine while taking in unique live entertainment. Oktoberfest kicks off each festival day with a parade and keg tapping ceremony. Additional entertainment will include strolling Kobald tricksters who play practical jokes amongst the crowd, and the Alpine Horn Comedy Concert. Notable menu items offered during the festival include, a spicy chicken schnitzel sandwich and German pot roast pretzel sandwich, German chocolate funnel cake, German potato salad and more. Fright Fest at Six Flags Over Georgia is open for an expanded 23 select nights starting September 14 through November 3. Chaperone Policy: In preparation of the busy Fright Fest season, Six Flags Over Georgia has implemented a chaperone policy. Under this policy, all guests ages 15 years old or younger must be accompanied by a chaperone who is at least 21 years old in order to be admitted to, or remain in, the park after designated hours.
