This past Thursday we were invited out to SeaWorld San Diego to ride the all new Arctic Rescue! We've got a lot of video and pics to get into with this update so as always we're just going to get right into it. But a special thank you to SeaWorld San Diego for inviting us out for a fantastic day in the park!  Welcome to SeaWorld San Diego! Arctic Rescue is NOW OPEN!!  Before the media event started we wanted to check out the new Rescue Jr. area. Also, I think it's time for some new flat rides in the park. Maybe a Screamin' Swing right around this area? =)  Welcome to Rescue Jr!    It's a retheme of the previous Sesame Street area and since Sesame Place now exists, it makes perfect sense!  No new rides for now, but a retheme of what was already there.     Guessing some educational shows in this area  This looked vaguely new to me, maybe some new paint?   New show coming this Summer!  Over in the Penguin Encounter, some new signage and lighting. It's also winter time for the Penguins so they do ask you keep your phones and lights off.  The Flaming-O's were back in their permanent home. Hope this means good things in relation to the bird flu that was impacting them.  Also, all summer you can get $0.75 beer in the park!   Let's head into the station!  Really liked the station and lighting.     Some close ups of the train for those of you who like that kind of thing. You know who you are. =)     Trainless Station Saturday? Is that a thing?  You can also skip the coaster and go straight to Wild Arctic. You can also skip Wild Arctic as you exit the coaster.  There are lockers for your convenience.  Out in the store, some new 2023 Merch is available!  These are super cute.  And of course, all of your Arctic Rescue gear!    Did you know that Arctic Rescue features the first Hard Selzer created exclusively for a theme park attraction? And it's quite tasty too!  Arctic Rescue is NOW OPEN!!! As for the ride, I really liked it. It's definitely a family coaster, but that's okay. It's thrilling enough for me, but tame enough for the younger set. They'll love it. Related Videos
