This past Friday we got an exclusive opportunity to get a back stage look at the amazing Fright Fest make-up process at Six Flags Magic Mountain.
Scott Ramp has put together one amazing team to bring terror to the mountain and it shows each and every night of the event.

Here is where all the magic happens

There are so many different techniques in use. Some set characters get the same makeup design every night.

Prosthetic's are a big part of some designs as well.

Everybody in this room absolutely loves what they do and is so good at it. They all couldn't have been more welcoming to me and allowing me to get pictures of their process.

Working hard and having a great time doing it

So part of the process was me getting made up and then scaring in Aftermath.

My first stop was Wardrobe where the amazing Kevin made me up in awesome attire and then went to town with some blood and scissors. How fun!!

A before shot, looks kind of silly doing "Zombie Face" without the Zombie Makeup.

And then it was off to over an hour of makeup and it was SO fun. The amazing Alanna Suen did such an amazing job as you'll see in the time-lapse below.
A few words I heard were "perfect canvas" and "great model". I can assure you that's the first and last time I'll ever hear that.

But it was awesome that she didn't have any restrictions and could just show off her amazing talent. And amazing talent it is.

Some close up details, I barely recognized myself.

Thanks again to Six Flags Magic Mountain for allowing me to come up for this amazing night, hopefully we will be able to do this again sometime.

A HUGE thanks to Scott Ramp for being so awesome and for all of the hard work you and your team do every night to make our Fright Fest experience so amazing.

And finally, to Alanna Suen, thank you for making the night so fun and for assuring me I'm not one of those "annoying bloggers". ;)
