Happy Tuesday that feels like a Monday! Hope you all had a great long holiday weekend, and if you visited any parks you brought your patience with you. We made a quick stop at Magic Mountain on Friday before the weekend crowds showed up, only to see that it was Middle School day in the park. Needless to say, this was the shortest visit I've made to the park since they reopened last year. I think I was at the park for about 45 minutes tops. But that was enough time to get some pics and video of what's going on around the park, and use my skip the line pass on Full Throttle. I also apologize for the brightness of the pics/video. It was overcast and very bright and not the best day to get pics. Everything looks washed out. Oh well. It happens. =) Let's get into the update! Written by Gregg Condon  Flags are at half staff for yet another mass shooting. If we're not going to do anything about this we might as well keep them like this. And that's all I'm gonna say about that.  Orient Express/Honda Express has another new name!  But it was closed during our visit, so not moving.  The full throttle stage is back up, and decked out for Grad Nite.   What you all came here for!  A look at the almost completed lift hill.  I have to be honest, I expected them to be a bit further along since it had been 2 weeks since our last update.  A look at the store/restaurant/we don't know yet. This looks to be in pretty much the same spot as Teen Titans Pizza was, so we're going with food.  The final turn into the brake run is complete  The track and Riddler's supports are pretty identical in color  Mid Course Brake Run   They've started installing the perimeter fence around the coaster.  Looks pretty similar to what is there for Riddler's  The top of the lift  An overview of the middle section of the coaster  I know we'd been discussing a July 4th opening, and they could technically still make it, but it will be close. We had heard track was to be completed by the end of May, that's obviously not happening. Even if it's done by the end of this week, that leaves barely a month to finish if they're hoping for July 4th. I just don't see it happening. Right now I'd say a mid-July opening.
