It's finally here, our The New Revolution media day update. We wanted to make sure we got all our videos and pics done right before presenting it all to you, so we hope you enjoy. 

We'll start off with some videos, two of our POV's (with and without the VR headset) and also a walk-around of the ride area.

Before we get started, a few notes about The New Revolution
  • The ride is open now for Season Passholders, however you must reserve a ride time on the Six Flags Magic Mountain Website. 
  • BE PATIENT!! This is new for them and us. There is also only 1 train right now. They are using Passholders as guinea pigs, so try to be understanding. 
  • The ride will open to the public on April 21. There will be another small event at that time and we will OF COURSE be there. 
With that said, let's get to the videos!! 

We'll start off with a behind the scenes look at Media Day because you all want to see what goes on. It's TOTALLY glamorous. ;) 
Next are our two reverse POV's with and without the VR headsets that we posted over the weekend

The ACE sign has been re-done and it looks phenomenal. It's so nice to see this landmark coaster get the TLC it's needed.

Just FYI for those with young kids. If they are over 48" they can still ride The New Revolution, but they can't use the VR headsets until they are 13. 

We also just confirmed with the park that this requirement is from Samsung and Oculus and the park is following their safety guidelines.

Some action shots!! Notice the front wasn't on the train due to filming. Like Twisted Colossus the front is removable so they can add camera rigs. Smart idea.

Thanks again to the park for having us out, we had a great time and can't wait to get up and ride it some more soon.
