Mini Update - Harry Potter Construction and CityWalk Christmas at Universal Hollywood

Today's update is very brief, just an update on Harry Potter Construction at Universal Studios Hollywood as well as a look at what CityWalk has going on for the next week or so leading up to New years Eve.

We are hoping to bring you a full Universal Hollywood update sometime in the next week or two.

From outside the park you can get a good look at what used to be the Universal/Gibson Amphitheater. Where the big whole is is basically just in front of the former entrance to the Amphitheater. 

The amount of work they've done in this area in just a few short months is simply staggering. Lots of prep work still being done on the overall site. For those of you familiar with the park, the building shown on the other side of the fence is the Shrek 3D show building. 

I tried to get as good a shot as possible of the big hole in the ground but this was about as good as it's going to get for now. It's just dirt anyway. =)

There looks to be a prep area in what (I believe) was backstage parking for the amphitheater. 

More prep work going on back stage. 

Over in CityWalk, they are all decked out for the holidays including Snow and a Santa Claus meet and greet. 

Even King Kong is in the holiday spirit. 

That's going to wrap it up for this update. We have a couple of other Press Releases that we've received that we'll be rolling out tomorrow and we should have a Magic Mountain update for you early next week.
