The lower lot house where Killer Clowns was last year is taking shape.

Not sure what this is yet, hopefully we get some announcements soon.

For only the 2nd or 3rd time since the parks reopened, we got to tour the backlot. Sadly the reason is because of the WGA strike.

The house behind Mummy is also taking shape. It looks like this will be the entrance again this year.

It looks like Production Central is finally down for the count.

Merchandise was being removed from the store. In fact, the day after we were at the park, they started tearing apart the Animal Actors stage.

There have been rumors of a Universal Monsters Paris house, and Dracula happened to be out in the Paris Metro. Hmm.

And a Dracula poster out in front of the Baker Street Music Hall.

Out in CityWalk, a Jurassic Park store has opened in Production Central.

Not as fancy as the one in Orlando, so no awesome photo op.

But the merchandise is fantastic.

I think I need that yellow shirt.

As I mentioned, we ate at Toothsome for the first time since media night, it was quite yummy.

We were so full we didn't get dessert, next time.

We’re here for the reimagined County fair! First Hershey, San Diego, now for event number three of the day!!!

Welcome to SeaWorld San Diego! Arctic Rescue is NOW OPEN!!

Before the media event started we wanted to check out the new Rescue Jr. area. Also, I think it's time for some new flat rides in the park. Maybe a Screamin' Swing right around this area? =)

Welcome to Rescue Jr!

It's a retheme of the previous Sesame Street area and since Sesame Place now exists, it makes perfect sense!

No new rides for now, but a retheme of what was already there.

Guessing some educational shows in this area

This looked vaguely new to me, maybe some new paint?

New show coming this Summer!

Over in the Penguin Encounter, some new signage and lighting. It's also winter time for the Penguins so they do ask you keep your phones and lights off.

The Flaming-O's were back in their permanent home. Hope this means good things in relation to the bird flu that was impacting them.

Did you know that Arctic Rescue features the first Hard Selzer created exclusively for a theme park attraction? And it's quite tasty too!

Arctic Rescue is NOW OPEN!!! As for the ride, I really liked it. It's definitely a family coaster, but that's okay. It's thrilling enough for me, but tame enough for the younger set. They'll love it.
