Last night we got a special preview of the all new Justice League Battle for Metropolis at Six Flags Magic Mountain.

It's officially summer in Southern California, but it sure makes for some nice pictures.
Tidal Wave's entrance is now moved, it was still closed. It's desperately needed right now.
Something is behind here.
Some walls are down and you can see the Hall of Justice. They still have some work to do before media night tomorrow.
Excited to ride Riddler's again.
Despite all the rumors to the contrary, they did paint this wall. It looks great in person.
We had a bit of time before our ride on Justice League so went to ride Apocalypse. The re-track has definitely helped this ride.
We are among the first to ride. You can get one of these buttons as well if you attend on opening day. They will be giving these out until they are gone.

Unlike the other versions where all of the statues and pre-show stuff is just in the queue, this version actually has two pre-show rooms.

The ride is amazing.
For me the gold-standard for "shooter" rides is MIB at Universal Orlando. So I'm not going to say it's on that level. But every time I rode I had to remind myself that this is at SFMM. For me it was a cross between Transformers at Universal Studios and Buzz Lightyear. I'm not the biggest fan of Transformers so thought this was much better. The screens and scenes blend seamlessly and I think this is going to be a huge hit for the park.
I haven't ridden the other versions so I'm not sure what's different on this one vs the others other than the pre-show. Hopefully once some others ride we'll do some comparison updates.
But this is definitely a MUCH needed family attraction to a park that's short on them.
