SeaWorld Parks

Last weekend we were invited out to attend the Seven Seas Food Festival at SeaWorld San Diego. This is one of our favorite events at the park and it seems like it gets better each and every year.

And despite someone making food plans based on the Orlando event, we still found plenty of amazing food and fun at every turn. It's for sure a can't miss event. Let's head in and have some fun!

Entering the park at the moment is a bit wonky as the park continues work on a new park entrance.

Entry was rather seamless, here you can see the work being done on the new entry from the other side.

Still no indication as to why they are replacing the entrance, I'm sure they've got something planned.

We are quite excited for Jewels of the Sea and can't wait to get back to check it out.

Before we get into the food, the park is also celebrating it's 60th anniversary, lots of great merchandise and other things to celebrate.

Alright, let's get into the food! We did a quick reel on Instagram with our top 5 treats from the event. It's quite hard to eat 20 tastings when there are only 2 of you.

We started off our day with some Baklava, which was absolutely delicious. The Bao and Almond Cookie are below. We got the Bao without the Kimchi, but it didn't need it at all. It was delicious just like this. We also tried a couple of tea's at the Boba Bar which were fantastic.

Over in Germany, the pretzel with beer cheese was amazing. We would have bathed in that cheese. I loved the Schnitzel sandwich while we both felt the Apple Kuchen could have used some kind of sauce on it.

In Mexico, the Carne Asada Nachos were definitely the biggest portion of food we got, the Carnitas Tacos were delicious while the Shrimp Cocktail could have used a couple more shrimp.

Polynesian Flavors was one of our favorite stops, and what a beautiful setting. The Lilikoi Bar was delicious. Did you know Lilikoi is just Passion Fruit? We didn't. But this was absolutely delicious. We also got the Huli Huli Chicken Thighs and a couple of drinks from the Tiki Bar.

Overall we had an absolutely fantastic day at SeaWorld, seeing some of our favorite animals, enjoying some tasty food and enjoying a perfect spring day. We highly recommend visiting the Seven Seas Food Festival! The event runs through April 28th and you can find all of the information here
