Happy Tuesday and welcome to another update from Six Flags Magic Mountain!

In this update you'll see some more of the deconstruction of Tidal Wave, and also unfortunately the crowds that have descended on the park even though it's still currently only at 35% capacity. In the video below I share some thoughts on this so I won't go into it too much here.

No more temperature checks at the park!

Security was a breeze as always, love this new system! But park entry was another story.

This was the line to get in at about 2:00pm on Saturday. So much for the reservations and staggered arrivals.

The Membership "skip the line" and Flash Pass lines were quite long as well.

Headed up to Samurai Summit for the first time since reopening. Wonder if we'll be seeing Fright Fest this year.

Through the trees you can see what's left of Tidal Wave

Guessing by this time next week this will be mostly gone

Anybody remember when Riddlers, Tidal Wave AND Freefall were here?

Lamps are being removed as well

Sorry for the pole, but here you can see how much is being removed. Oddly enough, it doesn't look like they've done much removal of the station. Hmm.

They've kept some vegitation and removed some

From the other side you can definitely see how little is left

On the way out, a look at the newly repainted Hurricane Harbor slides. The park seemed pretty empty, anybody been to HH? How have the crowds been?

As I was leaving, they were testing the buses. And having to tell everybody not to walk in the bus route. So things ARE returning to normal.
