Halloween Horror Nights Reveals Two All-New Haunted Houses – “Five Nights at Freddy’s” and “WWE Presents: The Horrors of The Wyatt Sicks”

Halloween Horror Nights Unleashes a Double Dose of Dread
with the Reveal of Two All-New Haunted Houses – “Five Nights at Freddy’s”
and “WWE Presents: The Horrors of The Wyatt Sicks”
Debuting this Fall at Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood

Orlando, Fla., Universal City, Calif (July 29, 2025) – Halloween Horror Nights awakens two iconic franchises in all-new terrifying haunted houses inspired by the blockbuster film Five Nights at Freddy’s and WWE’s legendary The Wyatt Sicks. The horror kicks off at Universal Orlando Resort on Friday, August 29 and at Universal Studios Hollywood on Thursday, September 4.

    Five Nights at Freddy’s
Guests will fight to survive as they venture through an all-new haunted house inspired by the 2023 hit film Five Nights at Freddy’s, Blumhouse’s highest-grossing movie to date and an adaptation of the horror videogame phenomenon.

Guests will follow in the footsteps of Mike, who was recently fired and desperate for work so that he can keep custody of his little sister, after he accepts a position as a night security guard in an abandoned themed entertainment center: Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria. The terror will start as guests navigate the corridors and learn that nothing at Freddy’s is what it seems when they encounter the supernatural and become lured into the black heart of an unspeakable nightmare.

The journey will bring guests face-to-face with full-scale replicas of the eerie characters from the film—Freddy Fazbear, Chica, Bonnie, Foxy, and Mr. Cupcake—as they stalk visitors through iconic scenes, including the security room and the showroom where the chilling characters performed. The larger-than-life characters for the haunted houses were created in collaboration with Jim Henson’s Creature Shop, who also masterfully produced the animatronics and corresponding costumes for the fan-favorite film.

WWE Presents: The Horrors of The Wyatt Sicks
Guests will be immersed in the world of WWE in the bi-coastal haunted houses “WWE Presents: The Horrors of The Wyatt Sicks,” where they will go head-to-head with Uncle Howdy in an experience that not only features The Wyatt Sicks but honors the legacy of Bray Wyatt. The group derives from the creative mind of Bray Wyatt and was resurrected in 2024 by his brother Bo Dallas, also known as Uncle Howdy – the fearless leader of The Wyatt Sicks. The chilling crew of five has quickly emerged as one of the most disturbing and disruptive groups in WWE history with its ominous presence and portrayal of dark and twisted characters – all of which will come to life at Halloween Horror Nights this fall.

Horror fans brave enough to travel through the light of the lantern will find themselves transported into the maniacal minds of The Wyatt Sicks, where each member reigns supreme within their own horrific domains. There, Uncle Howdy together with Ramblin Rabbit, Mercy the Buzzard, Abby the Witch and Huskus the Pig will be waiting to take bloody retribution on a world that has abandoned them. Along the way, guests will be stalked by the eerie presence of The Fiend, Bray’s sadistic alter ego, who looms within the shadows and beckons them to let him in.

Tickets are now on sale for Halloween Horror Nights at both theme park destinations. Below highlights the variety ticket options available for purchase to attend the events.

    Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights
The event will run 48 select nights from August 29 through November 2, and feature 10 terrifying haunted houses, scare zones, live shows and more. Single-night tickets, a variety of Fear Passes and event-inclusive vacation packages are on sale now. Event upgrades such as Universal Express Passes, the R.I.P Tour, Premium Scream Night (only on August 28) and the Behind the Screams: Unmasking the Horror Tour are also available. Guests can also stay near the fear with special vacation packages that include hotel accommodations, daytime admission to Universal’s theme parks, single night admission to Halloween Horror Nights and more – with savings available depending on the length of stay. Universal Studios Hollywood Update - July 23, 2025 (HHN and Fast and Furious)

    Picture
Welcome to an all new update from Universal Studios Hollywood. In this update we've got a lot of HHN and Fast and Furious for you. Also included is some Mega Movie Summer fun and a look at some killer new merchandise that is now available!
    Picture
    Picture
    Picture

I think I've seen these before, but love them.

    Picture

I think this is a robe? For those casual scary movie nights at home? =)

    Picture

Absolutely LOVE this. Some of the same merchandise was unveiled for the HHN Vegas site today as well.

    Picture
    Picture
    Picture

For those who are into this ...

    Picture
    Picture
    Picture

Was VERY close to getting this one

    Picture

Hanging out with Marty and Einstein. Einstein looks thrilled to see me.

    Picture

    Super excited for Monstruos 3.0

    Picture

Oh, you want to see some Fast and Furious? Here you go!

    Picture

Supports for the Sound Walls. Sound Tunnels? Sound Abatement? Sound Blockers?

    Picture

The pull-through has made it past the mid-course brake

    Picture

Despite the covering on it, this is definitely the Dodge Charger ride vehicle

    Picture
    Picture

The biggest thing they still have to do is the covering for this section over the Starway

    Picture

And this section at the bottom of the hill

    Picture
    Picture
    Picture

The sound walls are HUGE. I don't think they'll go any higher than this though.

    Picture
    Picture

Looks like they are testing designs for the outside of the wall. I think movie posters could be cool. Or a blue screen.

    Picture

The hillside project looks to be nearing completion. They did this SUPER quick.

    Picture

This will provide some much needed extra queue space for the Jason house, and is rumored to become a permanent structure for future Halloween Horror Nights/Universal FanFest Nights events. Can't imagine they'll have time to get it done for this years HHN.

    Picture

Can't wait to get pics/video of Fast and Furious from this spot

    Picture
    Picture

We don't usually like to speculate on what's coming to HHN, but this is pretty obvious at this point. Although, we don't know what Blumhouse properties are included.

    Picture
    Picture

I absolutely love that they keep updating the Hollywood sign. Hope it continues.

    Picture

    More Terror Tram construction

    Picture

Looks like they might be setting up another RIP Tour exclusive room like they had last year.

    Picture

NOPE was closed, not sure if for HHN or for filming.

    Picture

Judging from all the activity going on in Falls Lake, I'm guessing filming. Although it'd be pretty cool to have this spot in use for HHN. =)

    Picture

Out in CityWalk, the cookie place is still rumored to be opening before HHN

    Picture

Not sure when Slice House is opening. However if you're looking for a great pizza, you can't go wrong with Vivo just down the road. We ate here before seeing Superman in IMAX the night we shot this update.

    Picture

Johnny Rockets is now closed. I remember seeing signs that it was going to be a Korean BBQ place or something, but those are gone.

    Picture

I don't think I ever ate at the Johnny Rockets.

    Picture

The NBA Store is finally starting to get some work done on the outside.

    Picture

Raising Cane's is progressing as well. This will definitely be a popular location once it opens.

    Picture

And lastly, work is continuing on the new security area's here and outside of Jurassic Parking. Still wondering how they're going to do that.

Universal City, California, July 22, 2025 – Universal Studios Hollywood teams with SLASH, the iconic, Grammy® Award-winning guitarist and songwriter, to create a terrifying slate of original Halloween Horror Nights experiences, exclusive to the Hollywood destination. Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood begins on Thursday, September 4.

These unique experiences will include an original soundtrack composition for the fan-favorite haunted house, “Scarecrow: Music by SLASH,” marking the seventh consecutive year in which the prolific artist has created a score for a Universal Studios Hollywood Halloween Horror Nights haunted house.

Scarecrow: Music by SLASH” puts retribution at the forefront in which Mother Nature seeks vengeance on the homesteaders for their sins of the past that will be carried out by farmland scarecrows, mute witnesses who have become the guardians of destruction for anyone who crosses their path.

SLASH’s original score for the experience, which he composes similarly to a motion picture by engaging with each scene, will deliver an unnerving sense of fear as guests navigate the ominous corridors of the haunted house.
    Picture
Halloween Horror Nights will also celebrate the vinyl-only album release of SLASH: Music of Universal Studios Hollywood – Halloween Horror Nights, Volume 2.  The scary soundtrack will complement last year’s sold-out vinyl-only album with a slate of original music that SLASH has created over the past six years for a variety of Universal Studios Hollywood haunted houses. The album, which includes a tribute by John Murdy, Creative Director and Executive Producer of Halloween Horror Nights, will be available for purchase at Universal Studios Hollywood.

The score for SLASH: Music of Universal Studios Hollywood – Halloween Horror Nights, Volume 2, is as follows:

    2. “Immortal Curses” 4:26 (Universal Monsters: Legends Collide 2022)
    3. “Alucard” 2:21 (Universal Monsters: Legends Collide 2022)
    4. “Bloodline Drawn” 5:02 (Universal Monsters: Eternal Bloodlines 2024)
    5. “Unholy Alliance” 3:15 (Universal Monsters: Eternal Bloodlines 2024)
    Picture
SLASH’s presence throughout the event will also introduce fans to a dedicated themed SLASH Bar, located at Jurassic Cove, above Jurassic World—The Ride, where they can imbibe on a fleet of cocktails inspired by a collection of SLASH’s music, including “The Danse of the Dead,” “Beautiful Dangerous” and the non-alcoholic option, “SLASH’s Snakepit.” A menu featuring some of SLASH’s favorite foods will include such treats as Chicken Satay Tacos, Thai Beef Tacos and Thai Curry Tacos, plus a SLASH Hat cake, reminiscent of his signature top hat, for every sweet tooth guest. As guests dare to visit the SLASH Bar, they will be met by a ghoulish stilt walking SLASH scare-actor, fully adorned with his signature black curly locks and top hat. Inspired by a character created by SLASH, this scare-actor will taunt and torment guests in his path. Guests must be 21+ and have a valid photo ID to purchase alcoholic beverages.

“As a longtime fan of Halloween Horror Nights, it has been incredibly rewarding to not only have experienced the event as a guest, but to have partnered with Universal Studios Hollywood for so many years to create an array of original music that intensifies the storylines of these haunted houses,” said SLASH. “This year’s collaboration with Halloween Horror Nights and the chance to become one of the event’s marquee experiences is truly humbling and I can’t wait for the guests to join me when they step into the terror.”

“SLASH has been an important creative partner for years creating memorable music that has completely elevated our Halloween Horror Nights haunted houses,” said John Murdy, Creative Director and Executive Producer of Halloween Horror Nights. “Creating a series of SLASH-inspired interactive experiences was a natural progression for the event, and it’s an honor to headline Universal’s horror legacy with SLASH.”

Six Flags Magic Mountain Update: July 22, 2025 - Fright Fest 2025! Project 2026?

Welcome to an all new update from Six Flags Magic Mountain. Our first since April. We had anticipated at least a little bit of progress on the rumored coaster for 2026, but honestly the site looks kind of abandoned at the moment. In fact, there is less construction equipment on site now than there was 3 months ago. Still, there's quite a bit to check out at the park including some prep for Fright Fest.

I've also got some thoughts on Ninja in the update video below, and it sadly isn't good.
    Picture

Welcome to Six Flags Magic Mountain. No, this isn't May or June. This is the middle of July. And it's only 75 degrees. In Santa Clarita (technically the desert). Sadly, I think the weather is going to pay us back for this very mild summer just around the time Halloween Season starts.

    Picture

A long overdue project, a new wall has been built between the walkway and Hurricane Harbor. It looks fantastic. However, just like Magic Mountain to take 2 steps forward and 1 step back. It would have been nice to see them repave the walkway while they were busy working over here.

    Picture

The entry plaza is looking fantastic!

    Picture

A hopeful good sign of things to come. Yes, trash cans can be a good sign. Love these throwbacks.

    Picture

Rode Full Throttle for the first time in awhile (since it was actually open with the park)

    Picture

They also have guests stand back from the gates now while the coaster launches. Probably a good thing. Also, I volunteer to come powerwash the station!

    Project 2026?

    Picture

Let's take a look at what is supposedly the site for the parks 2026 attraction.

    Picture
    Picture
    Picture

Doesn't look like much going on at all.

    Picture

To compare, here are some pics from April.

    Picture

There was construction equipment visible in April that is now gone, or at least not visible.

    Picture

Back to yesterday, just lots of dirt and stairs and seats. We'll continue to keep an eye on this spot, and of course if there is an announcement we will certainly be covering it.

    Fright Fest 2025!

    Picture

Now to something that's actually happening, it's getting close to Fright Fest time! The Facade for SAW is gone, and this doesn't look "Saw" like at all.

    Picture

In fact, it looks almost like a Mansion. Hmm ...

    Picture

It has been about 13 years since Willoughby's 2.0 was unveiled. Maybe a sequel is coming down here?

    Picture

However, considering what a staple Willioughby's is at Fright Fest, not sure if I can see them doing it in a pop-up tent and not a more permanent structure.

    Picture

Further back, Trick r' Treat is completely gone, and will likely not be returning. Unless it's going to another location. I can think of a few prime locations for it. =)

    Picture
    Picture

Some of the signage for Army of the Dead is still in The Underground, but when we rode Apocalypse in April it seemed they were removing some of the maze.

    Picture

Nothing visible on Willoughby's yet. But it's still early.

    Picture

Likewise, nothing going on with Sewer of Souls. Alright, that's going to wrap it up for this update. Hope you enjoyed and we hope to see you at Midsummer Scream in just a few weeks!
