(Branson, Missouri 4/29/2022) Silver Dollar City’s Bluegrass & BBQ Festival awakens the Ozarks with bluegrass sounds and the savory smells of barbecue. In its 18th season, Bluegrass & BBQ continues to heighten the senses with a high standard in musical presentation and culinary creativity. This festival features an unbeatable combination of downhome BBQ and bluegrass music, with stages throughout The City hosting more than 50 different musical groups, presenting both traditional and contemporary tunes.
Hear the sweet sounds of bluegrass music throughout The City streets as award-winning performers take to the stages with family bands, new artists and longtime downhome fiddlers. Top musical groups include Grammy-awarded artists such as Rhonda Vincent & The Rage and Daily & Vincent, along with 2022 SPBGMA Band and Gospel Group of the Year, Joe Mullins & The Radio Ramblers.
While the music is playing, the BBQ pitmasters are working hard to create “BBQ Central” throughout Rivertown, including the Smokehouse where briskets are smoked 10-16 hours along with other traditional meats like ribs, pulled pork and chicken, all slow-cooked on a custom smoker. Other BBQ flavors can be found throughout the festival with the Bluegrass & BBQ Tasting Passport featuring BBQ brisket bowls, BBQ pulled pork bowls, grilled smoked brisket sausage, BBQ nachos, smoky BBQ pork pizza and the new twice baked peach bread pudding.
Silver Dollar City continues to support up-and-comers in bluegrass music with the 20th Annual Youth in Bluegrass Band Contest on May 28. Rising stars from around the nation compete to win a grand prize, bragging rights and a performance at Silver Dollar City. This tradition continues to bring families and aspiring musicians closer together.

Six Flags Magic Mountain’s record 20th coaster—the most at any theme park in the world--WONDER WOMAN™ Flight of Courage will debut Summer 2022 as the tallest and longest single-rail coaster on the planet. Riders will fly single file through the sky over 3,300 feet of track, towering 13 stories and soaring at speeds up to 58 miles-per-hour.
WONDER WOMAN™ Flight of Courage will be located in the six-acre DC UNIVERSE™ area of the park, which will be expanded and entirely remodeled to include a new, innovative restaurant and bar experience, plus retail locations featuring exclusive DC branded merchandise.
WONDER WOMAN™ Flight of Courage exemplifies the Super Hero’s traits of strength and speed—showcasing the legacy of WONDER WOMAN™ herself. As guests enter the ride queue, influenced by Greek architecture and featuring tropical landscaping, they will be immersed in the story of her life and how she obtained her super powers.

New LEGO Model to be Featured in New Interactive Attraction Scheduled to Open May 12, 2022!
CARLSBAD, Calif. (April 28, 2022) – It may not have more than 470 horsepower, but it’s built out of more than 358,000 LEGO® elements, weighs more than 3,000 pounds and is a one-of-a-kind replica of one of the most celebrated Ferrari vehicles ever created…the first-ever life-size Ferrari F40 model developed by the LEGO Group will be on display as a part of LEGOLAND® California Resort’s new attraction, LEGO Ferrari Build and Race, opening May 12, 2022.
The Ferrari F40 model took a team of designers and builders more than 1,800 hours to develop and more than 1,900 hours to construct the high-performance ultra-luxury sports car. Resembling the actual F40 Ferrari, the LEGO version is similar in size at 14 feet in length, more than six feet wide, 4 feet tall and a wheelbase at 8 feet.
The new LEGO model will be featured in the garage area of LEGOLAND California’s new interactive attraction, LEGO Ferrari Build and Race. Future builders, drivers and enthusiasts will get a chance to sit inside, take pictures and most of all, be inspired by the life-size LEGO vehicle. The garage is one of three interactive zones which also includes the build and test area, and digital racetrack for guests to digitally race their own LEGO Ferrari against other cars for the fastest lap. The new attraction places guests in the driver’s seat as they use their creativity and imagination to build, test and race.

The world-renowned restaurant Din Tai Fung will join the Downtown Disney District in Anaheim, Calif. to offer guests soup dumplings hand crafted on site. URAYASU, CHIBA—Oriental Land Co., Ltd. announced today that Space Mountain and its surrounding area in Tomorrowland at Tokyo Disneyland® Park will undergo a major renovation. This newly developed plaza will create a reimagined area of Tomorrowland and is expected to open in 2027.
Space Mountain, an exhilarating, indoor roller coaster that takes guests on a high-speed joy ride through space, has been a favorite of guests since the Grand Opening of Tokyo Disneyland in 1983. This entirely new attraction will maintain its original concept as an indoor roller coaster, but will have enhanced performance and immersive special effects that will give guests even more thrills on this exciting rocket ride.
The new Tomorrowland plaza will express the connection between Earth and the universe, representing an image of a future where humans are in harmony with nature. Guests will be able to enjoy moments of rest and relaxation in this plaza where various icons and other design elements create a sense of hope for the future. After dark, the area will draw guests into a spectacular world of light and soundscapes.
Guests can look forward to the excitement at the new Space Mountain and the plaza at Tomorrowland.
