(Ventura, CA) – With restrictions on concerts and festivals lifted in California as of June 15, Ventura’s beloved Tequila & Taco Music Festival will be returning on July 24 - 25 to the Ventura County Fairgrounds. Festivalgoers will be able to enjoy tequila sampling, live entertainment, delicious street tacos, craft beer, refreshing margaritas and an artisanal craft market, all at an ideal beach-adjacent outdoor setting, cooled by ocean breezes.
A variety of top-shelf tequila brands will be participating in the festival’s Saturday and Sunday tequila tasting, and delicious margaritas and other beverages will be available for purchase. Attendees will also be able to enjoy delicious gourmet street tacos from a range of popular food vendors.
The 90’s pop icon and rapper Robert Van Winkle aka Vanilla Ice will set the stage on fire with his distinctive mix of rock, techno\ and old-school hip hop on Saturday, along with the hip hop/pop rap duo Tag Team. Vanilla Ice reached international fame with his mega hit “Ice Ice Baby”, the first hip-hop track to reach the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the U.S. His latest album, “Wisdom, Tenacity, and Focus” (WTF) has ushered a new era for Rob Van Winkle, showcasing a further diversified musical exploration as he draws from multiple genres from punk and country to ska and techno.
Tequila & Taco Music Festival is a production of the Surfers Point Live! event series launching in July by CBF Productions. In 2020, CBF Productions produced the highly successful ‘Concerts In Your Car’ series, creating the first drive-in, socially-distanced theatre-in-the-round-style, live entertainment option in California. Surfers Point Live! takes its name from the famous California surf break – Surfers Point – located steps from the Ventura County Fairgrounds, home to both Concerts In Your Car and Surfers Point Live!

Universal City, California, June 9, 2021 – Universal CityWalk Hollywood is partnering with the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health to host a pop-up COVID-19 vaccination site from Thursday, June 10 to Sunday, June 13 and from Friday, June 18 to Thursday, June 24, 2021, noon to 6:00 p.m. in which the Pfizer-BioNTech and Johnson & Johnson/Janssen vaccines will be administered by Curative.
Self-parking is free for guests who arrive at Universal CityWalk with proof of confirmed appointments.
Walk ups and appointments will be available at this vaccination site and guests can visit https://curative.com/sites/29404 to schedule their advance appointment. Directional signage will be available upon arrival.
For guests receiving the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, a second appointment will be scheduled during the first vaccine dose administered on site at Universal CityWalk. Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine requires one dose only.
Guests visiting for their vaccination are requested to bring a government-issued ID and their insurance card. These will not be required for vaccination except that minors are required to bring a government-issued photo ID (or, in the alternative, a birth certificate and the minor’s school ID). Minors must be accompanied by an adult for vaccination.
Universal CityWalk will celebrate the first 100 guests each day from June 10 to June 13 and from June 18 to June 24, starting at noon, who receive a vaccination dose at the CityWalk vaccination site with a voucher for a complimentary pre-selected sweet treat from Voodoo Doughnut. As a valued employer and responsible corporate citizen, Universal CityWalk will also welcome all Universal Studios Hollywood, Universal CityWalk and NBCUniversal team members and their families to take advantage of the vaccination site with exclusive hours available to them for walk ups only from 10:00 a.m. to noon daily during the run of the pop-up site. SAN JOSE, CA (June 8, 2021)—The Winchester Mystery House announced today the return of the Guided Mansion Tour on Saturday, June 19th. The Guided Mansion Tour immerses guests in Sarah Winchester’s story of heartbreak, tenacity and invention and explores the legends and lore of her home. The tour guide led experience allows guests to access areas of the mansion that have been closed since March 2020, including the 3rd and 4th floors which are purportedly the most paranormally active areas of the bizarre mansion.
