WHAT: California’s Great America, the Bay Area’s only amusement park and waterpark in-one, will debut the all new South Bay Shores Waterpark inside Great America. This richly themed new 15-acre area transports guests to a whimsical California coastal town. Guests can catch a ride down 18 different speed, tube, and body slides including four all new near-vertical drop slides. The waterpark has something for each member of the family, a new interactive kid's area, and for the more adventurous families, The Pacific Surge slide complex: six high thrill waterslides that tower over the waterpark. Guests can also enjoy new places to dine and sip, including Pier 76 Café and the pool-side Sand Bar. South Bay Shores will safely debut to the public select dates beginning on June 5 through September 12. To properly manage physical distancing of guests, capacity will be limited each day and may sell out. Ticket sales and reservations are now available at www.cagreatamerica.com. The safety and health of our guests remain our top priority. California’s Great America follows state, county and local health guidelines.
