Oviedo, FL July 19, 2021: Scream n’ Stream, Florida’s premiere drive-through haunted attraction, is back- returning this fall for its second year with an all-new horrifying story on select nights beginning on September 17th through October 31st. Guests will drive into a whole new world of terror crafted by Halloween Horror Nights Veteran, Patrick Braillard For 2021, Scream n’ Stream is leaving the swamp behind and moving into a secret research facility at the Oviedo Mall known as “Station 5” where a team of scientists is working to weaponize everyone’s worst nightmares, Clowns and Zombies. “We are thrilled to bring our event to the Oviedo Community,” says Gunderson. “The Oviedo Mall offers the perfect mix of food, beverage and entertainment. This gives our guests the opportunity to make a full night out of their visit to Scream n’ Stream, bringing our guests a complete Halloween Experience.” During the 25-minute experience, guests will drive into “Station 5,” a secret research compound that is home to some of the most fearsome creatures on the planet: clowns and zombies. Guests are tasked with delivering a kill switch device to stop the escaped creatures before it is too late. Passengers in the car are armed with laser guns to keep their driver safe as they navigate through the experience. The fun doesn’t stop there. With the variety of entertainment offerings within the mall, guests are invited to grab dinner at the Oviedo Brewing Company, try their hand at an escape room at District Eat & Play, or grab a specialty Zombie Juice from Calliope Street. “Last year, because of COVID, it was necessary to keep guests at a safe distance from performers and a drive-through haunted house made sense,” says Josh Gunderson, Event Coordinator for Scream n’ Stream. “This year we wanted guests to feel like they are a part of the action and being in their car is a necessity to the story and not just a by-product of a pandemic.” Safety at the event is still the number one priority, with sanitation measures in place for all handheld items such as the laser guns and kill switch devices. Additionally, safety measures are in place for the contractors working the event including the ability to remain socially distant from guests. “We recognize the ever-changing situation revolving around COVID-19 and want to deliver a spooky experience to all while remaining vigilant about the conditions surrounding the pandemic.” Scream n’ Stream is now hiring operations crew and performers for the 2021 event. Contractors can earn as much as $15/hr with bonuses over the course of the event. More information about available positions can be found at www.screamnstream.com/jobs. Scream n’ Stream will be hosted at the Oviedo Mall in Oviedo, FL on select nights beginning September 17th. Tickets are available now and guests can save up to $20 by purchasing online in advance.
