The Scare Returns – Six Flags Fright Fest® Presented by SNICKERS® – The Biggest, Most Terrifying Halloween Celebration on the Planet is Baaack It’s Chills by Day and Fright by Night at the Northern California Tradition VALLEJO, Calif. — September 25, 2021 — Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, The Thrill Capital of Northern California, today is welcoming guests back to Northern California’s largest annual Halloween event, Six Flags Fright Fest®. Now through October 31, visitors to Six Flags Fright Fest will find the return of six haunted houses; spooktacular Halloween-themed animal shows, live entertainment throughout the park; creepy scareactors prowling the midways; and thrilling, monster rides…in the dark. The health and safety of guests, team members, and animals continues to be a top priority of Six Flags. Reservations must be made in advance and a curfew for entry into the park is in place each evening. Per City of Vallejo mandates, masks may be required for all indoor locations, regardless of vaccination status. By night, park midways transform into fog-filled mazes of sinister sights and sounds. Scarier-than-life theming and innovative special effects combine to create movie-like haunted attractions. Fright Fest is so scary it is NOT recommended for children 12 and under after 6 p.m. SNICKERS® returns as the presenting sponsor of Fright Fest bringing scary haunted houses, Trick-or-Treat trails, and the annual Very Important Zombie Sweepstakes to guests across the nation. For a limited time only, guests can also enjoy special Fright Fest food and beverage offerings like the Funnel Scream Cake featuring SNICKERS®, a Fright Fest favorite, the new Frightening Fanta® Fizz drink made with Fanta® Orange, candy corn syrup, whipped cream and sprinkles, available in a limited-edition souvenir cup, and Churro Fries, topped with Fright Night Sprinkles and more, inspired by Halloween Wars on Food Network. Each of the featured experiences will reveal a hidden “scare” within the Fright Fest-inspired AR scenes that allow users to create spine-shivering, sharable content. These web-based AR experiences will be available by visiting sixflags.com/scream or scanning onsite QR codes, Six Flags drink bottles, or the Fright Fest logo. Guests can also visit the Fanta® photobooth experience inside the parks, which puts users into the middle of a zombie attack.
