PREMIER RIDES TEAM EXCEEDS FUNDRAISING GOAL FOR 2021 GIVE KIDS THE WORLD COASTING FOR KIDS EVENT

​Baltimore, MD- Premier Rides, a global supplier of high-tech ride attractions announced today they exceeded their fundraising goal for the 2021 Coasting for Kids event benefiting Give Kids the World. For the 4th consecutive event, employees of Premier Rides formed a team to raise funds and awareness and enjoyed a day full of riding coasters at Busch Gardens Williamsburg on August 21st.  Touted “A Day of Fun that Makes a Difference”, Coasting for Kids is the culmination of weeks of fundraising by each member of the team.  Busch Gardens Williamsburg hosted the event providing participants the opportunity to enjoy a day celebrating their fundraising success by riding rides and attractions at the park

Jim Seay, President of Premier Rides commented, “Premier Rides is proud to support organizations like Give Kids the World who make a difference in our communities.  We have a long history of supporting Give Kids the World and their many events including Golf Tournaments, Motorcycle Rides, 5K’s, a Night of a Million Lights, Galas, and Coasting for Kids.  I am impressed by our team who is driven to not only design and deliver attractions on which lifetime memories are made, but also volunteer their personal time to both make a difference in the lives of these critically ill children and to also give their families a sense of hope.”
 
John Byrne, Ride Marketing Engineer, who is also the team’s captain for these events added, “I am very lucky to say that some of my greatest family memories are from attending theme parks. That’s why I love Coasting for Kids. The event is tons of fun, but even better is knowing that similar memories are being given to kids and families who might otherwise never have that chance.  It’s also great to see the event grow each year.”  
 
Since 2017, Premier Rides has raised over $10,500 for Coasting for Kids.  This year, Premier Rides team had 12 members raise the most money the team had ever seen. Along with this fund-raising record, Team Premier was awarded the Most Member Award by Give Kids the World, helping the organization overall raise 3-times the amount of donations the organizations set for this year’s festivities.
 
This year’s Coasting for Kids event was held on Saturday, August 21st at Busch Gardens Williamsburg, where thrill seeking participants were able to ride coasters such as Loch Ness Monster, Apollo’s Chariot, and Premier Rides own triple-launching coaster, Tempesto.
John Byrne stated that “The Premier Rides team is already looking forward to Coasting for Kids 2022 and it would be great to have some other industry teams at the park with us for some friendly competitive fundraising for a great cause”.
