Spring Break at Six Flags Over Georgia Launches This Weekend with Major Enhancements to the Ride Experience
Park Open Daily with Extended Hours for Spring Break April 1 to 10
AUSTELL, Ga — March 30, 2022 — School’s out, the sun is bright and the gates are open April 1 to 10 for Spring Break at Six Flags Over Georgia — the Thrill Capital of the South. Spring Break kicks off this weekend as the park introduces multiple enhancements focused on the ride experience.

Six Flags Over Georgia is home to over 40 guest-loved attractions, from fast-paced coasters to family-favorite rides for the youngest thrill seekers. This season the park is focused on elevating the guest experience and is excited to announce additional enhancements to ride operations, including investments in mobile technology and accessibility.

Enhancements to the ride experience include:
  • Ride Information Center – A new ride information center is now located near Twisted Cyclone, offering guests a centralized location to perform height checks, obtain attractions access passes and accessibility information, test full-body safety harnesses, and more;

  • Single Rider Lines – To expedite loading procedures and to decrease ride wait times by filling every available seat, the park is introducing single rider lines at five attractions including: SUPERMAN™: Ultimate Flight, Twisted Cyclone, THE RIDDLER™ Mindbender, Goliath and Georgia Scorcher; and

  • Mobile Skip the Line Technology – Guests can now redeem skip the line passes and use THE FLASH Pass on a smartphone by scanning a QR code outside of THE FLASH Pass office and creating an account on THE FLASH Pass mobile site, eliminating the need to wait in additional lines and carry physical passes.
Additional park enhancements include:
  • Costa Coffee - Guests can enjoy an expanded coffee selection at Coaster Candy, including dark, medium and light roast as well as decaf and cold brew options. The experience is complete with new, café-style seating found outside of the retail store, giving guests a relaxing spot to enjoy their coffee and Coaster Candy treats; and

  • Upgraded Restrooms - The Marthasville Railroad and Goliath restroom locations have been upgraded, complete with new sinks and stall dividers.

A guest-favorite rollercoaster, Goliath, is nominated by USA TODAY 10Best for a 2022 Readers’ Choice award in the Best Rollercoaster category. Goliath, a Bolliger & Mabillard hyper coaster, has thrilled millions of guests for sixteen years. Fans can vote for the coaster once per day until April 25 at 10best.com/awards.

The park is also gearing up for a brand-new food and beverage festival, Tapas & Tequila, weekends, May 14 to 29. Guests can taste a variety of different tequila and tapas pairings, try handcrafted Six Flags Over Georgia-themed cocktails and enjoy a festival atmosphere complete with live music and ambiance. Tapas offerings include fire roasted sweet corn, cilantro-lime marinade shrimp tacos, smoked chipotle bacon-wrapped pork kabobs and more. For more information, visit sixflags.com/overgeorgia.
