![]() This past weekend as most of the eastern side of the country was covered in white snow, Andrew headed out to Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk for some fun in the California Winter. Andrew also headed over to the World Premiere of the Legacy of Arrow Development so we have a few pictures from that event as well as information on this weekends screening at Six Flags Magic Mountain!! Greetings from Santa Cruz, CA! Today we are visiting Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. Shout out to all the East Coasters stuck in the snow. It's sunny and 65 degrees at the Boardwalk! Hands up if you love classic coasters! The Giant Dipper opened in 1924 and is the park's signature attraction. Tons of history at Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. What used to be a bathhouse is now a mini golf course. According to the park, the Giant Dipper was built in 47 days. Sheesh Disney, what takes you so long? ;) The Giant Dipper has a beautiful station that drops directly into a crazy pre-lift tunnel. SCBB has an original "Laffing Sal" on display. Did you know these were made by PTC in the 1920's? Haunted Castle is a really awesome classic dark ride. Some cool surprises here! Be sure to check out our on-ride video of Haunted Castle taken last year. Thanks SCBB for a great afternoon We also headed over to Silicon Valley for the world premiere of The Legacy of Arrow Development Look who was well represented at the event!!! Some classic old school coaster memorabilia was on display. Does anyone have their XLR-8 credit? Check out this ride vehicle on display from Great America The event was great and the documentary fantastic. Don't forget if you are in Southern California you have another opportunity to catch the Legacy of Arrow Development THIS SATURDAY at 4:00pm at Six Flags Magic Mountain. Check out all the details below. About the event
We hope to see you there, it's going to be an AMAZING event!!
