 Last week we were invited out to Legoland California to check out the all new Lego Movie World. The new land is so fun and, well, awesome! Since media day we've been posting a lot of videos from our visit, so be sure to check them all out as they are imbedded in this update. You can see more information on Lego Movie World here.  Stage set up for the opening ceremony   Definitely eating here the next time we're at the park       Emmet's Flying Adventure was so much fun      The entire area is so well done   And of course there's a gift shop   I was very close to getting one of these and making it into a new camera bag with dividers, but it wasn't big enough.    After the media event and checking out all of Lego Movie World, I took a lap around the park.  Aquazone is getting some work done.  Always a fun ride  This has changed over the years  This is from 2005.  Deep Sea Adventure was closed due to the ride being so enclosed. Will be interesting to see if it reopens after June 15th.   No visit to Legoland is complete without spending some time in Miniland, USA  The area where Star Wars Miniland was. Will be interesting to see what ends up here.     That's a wrap from Legoland! (March 19, 2021) – LEGOLAND® California Resort is excited to offer Park Preview Days with access to select rides and attractions beginning April 1, 2021, under California’s reopening health and safety guidelines with official reopening on April 15, 2021. After closing its gates one year ago, the theme park built for kids is offering priority access to Hotel guests, pass holders and existing ticket holders impacted by COVID-19 Park closure, for the month of April. Park Preview Days offers access to select rides including Driving School, LEGO® TECHNIC™ Coaster, Fairy Tale Brook and Coastersaurus. Kids and families can also enjoy socially distant character meet and greets, live entertainment, a wide variety of food options and Miniland U.S.A. The Resort officially reopens April 15, offering access to SEA LIFE® aquarium and LEGO® CHIMA™ Water Park.
